You see how his feet hang past the foot rest? Mine do the same and my feet fall asleep. Very uncomfortable. I cant even take a nap. They fall asleep and hurt. Is there anyway to fix that? Right now I am thinking about making myself a new footrest. My wife bought me the chair as a gift. I was in the hospital and it was a surprise. It fits her well (she is much shorter than me). But I am 5'10 and to long for the chair. She will murder me if I buy a brand new chair. We have only had this chair 2 years. But the return was already over before I returned from the hospital.

How to stop it from rocking?
Can the rocker mechanism be locked to stop rocking ?
The man in the recliner looks too tall for the mechanism, judging from how far beyond the lower edge of the leg rest his feet extend.
