Can someone help me ?!?! I want a kontrol freek but I never had one and that makes a problem because i cant decide witch one to get galaxy or vortex someone help mee!!
Are these easy to take off if your going from FPS to RPGs? On my xbox 360 I remember I broke the sticks swapping them out all the time.. Was thinking whether its best to just buy another controller for anything not FPS..

I am glad i could help with the confusion. I noticed a lot of people doing reviews on the KontrolFreek's for the next gen consoles were not including that in there review which can make things confusing. If i am already using a cqc for left and a phantom for my right stick, would buying a vortex be worth it?
I think it would be worth it in my opinion just because the Vortex's right raised thumb stick is domed and for me its easier to get shot placement with a domed thumb stick because it allows me to roll my thumb near the center of the stick easier then the Phantom's concave design. Plus they come in a really nice orange color which i like LOL but seriously it all depends on your preference for concave VS convex. I hope this answers your questions and if you have any others feel free to ask.

which is better Phantoms or Vortex?
I like the Vortex better because it gives you a short CQC style cover for your run stick and a taller Sniper style for your aim stick.

Someone help me Bc when I put the control freaks on it slows my aim Bc my analog stick can’t fully go to the place lyke the 3 little things to click onto my controller get in the way slowing me down extremely
Youre board might not be placed correctly inside you're controller wich would cuz the analog stick to be shorter or youre kontrol freek is fat asf

I just got these today for Xbox 1. I recently got a Scuf and I hope this is a good addition to it.

No use the standard controller with the kontrol freaks cause with a scuf it will screw with your aim
how long do they last and do they damage your controller analogue sticks because in the video your is damaged.
They last a long time i have been using KontrolFreek products for a long time and never had an issue with wearing them out. Also no they do not damage your analog stick's they actually help prolong your analog stick's. The damage you see in my video as i explain was what happened from using the PS4 controller without any KontrolFreek on it. The rubber coming off of the analog stick is a know PS4 issue so using the KontrolFreek will prevent the damage. I hope i answered all your questions if you have anymore feel free to ask.
they do damage your stick, they damaged mine and my brothers controller. especially if you remove them to play other games which are not FPS. They are cool and do help a lot in shooters i can not argue about that.
John Gomez Sorry to hear you had that issue with your KontrolFreek's i have been using them for years and never had them damage any of my controller's. I take mine off daily to switch between models or just to play without them sometimes and have not had any issues on the PS4.

Should I get vortex or ultra for ps4?
I personally prefer the Vortex because it gives you a variation in your running and aiming sticks your run stick is low and concave and doesn't over extend your range of motion for running but your aim stick or your right thumb stick is extended and convex or domed which gives you more range of motion and control over your shot placement. The Ultra gives you both extended and concave for both left and right sticks it comes down to personal preference I personally don't like over extending my running stick some people do. We will be doing a review on the new UltraX for the PS4 so if thats something that might help let us know we are here to answer your guy's questions. Also if it is an issue at all the Ultra are a little bit cheaper then the Vortex. Also if you want to check out the Ultra's we have a review video of them on this channel

i have small hands and i use kontrol freek alphas. and play a lot of fighting games would a kontrol freek vortex and inferno combination. using both the high rise sticks help me in anyway. with a higher range of motion. or should i stick with low/mid rise kontrol freeks.

I hate these, I used them for half a year and they did nothing for me.... But that's just an opinion for those of you that get triggered
Just got these in the mail today. I have two PS4 controllers, one with the thumbsticks' rubber completely deteriorated. The KontrolFreeks NEVER stay on thumbsticks with no rubber, as the controller's sticks are too small w/o the rubber. The one with the rubber is fine however. So I'd say if you have enough rubber for these to kind of "grab" onto, then get them. If not, they will slide right off.
TheN1ckz I used a dab of guerrilla glue to keep mine in place. by only using a dab of glue I was able to remove them from the controller so I could lend them to a friend to try out. The glue did not damage the controller or the kontrol freeks.

They helped in a wide range of play for me.
I dunno whether to get mid rise or high rise. I have never used KF before and I wanna improve my aim on cod, but I feel high rise may be uncomfortable.

I just bought one and my controller is beaten up and it doesn’t stick to the controller
These were really great before I had my scuf controller but since the scuf controller is a bit more bulky these messed with my aim so I went back to the CQC green ones.
If you are having trouble putting these on make sure there is no other grip or layer over the default analog stick. I bought some for my friends ps4 controller and i didnt realize he had seperate grips on lol

I play a lot of competitive skirmish in destiny, bought these and raised my sensitivity from 4 to 5. Snipes have never been as accurate!

Yes I got the Vortexes and they are great. Raise your sensitivity by one to be faster but keep your accuracy or keep it and be way more accurate but with the same speed. I feel like my aim has improved substantially

Should I get vortex or ultra for ps4? Can't decide I mostly play fps games. Also I've been using ultra for ps3 for like 3 years.
If your used to using Ultra's i would stick with what your used to especially if you use them on both sticks. But if you don't want a longer extension one your run stick i would go with the Vortex. I personally use the Vortex everyday no matter what i play.

Good video man. I'm considering getting the Vortex or the CQC series myself. I tend to switch my my gameplay a lot but I'm a high sensitivity player (between 7-12 on Black Ops 2 where 14 is the max) so I'm still doubting. They're almost twice as expensive where I live (Europe) so that doesn't make it easier for a poor student like me haha.

Is the left dome kf better than the left concave kf for fps?
I like the right thumb stick to be domed for FPS that is why i run the Vortex almost exclusively when I am playing games like Call of Duty. As far as the left which is your run stick i like the concave design better then domed

Yeah even a lot of modded Xbox controllers (scuf) get sent out with dome sticks. Because you can ''roll your thumb'' like 1 LEVEL ENT said.

vortex vs phantom? what is better for ghosts? I use mainly the pdw pistol, msbs, and shotguns. I play mainly the infected game mode.(Just what would be the best kontrol freek out of all the ones they offer for the ps4)
If you play using mostly CQC weapons like the shotguns and the pdw and have never used Kontrol Freek's before i would go with the Kontrol Freek CQC

I do want to improve in accuracy though, does the phantom or vortex offer good movements and accuracy? my aim sucks with snipers, the pdw, and the msbs. the vortex looks like it offers better aim and movement? I want to have a good movement for dodging people infected but also have great accuracy. you sure about the cqc's?
George Splanco Deuce personally uses the Vortex and they are his favorite because they provide a nice balance. You have your run stick which is low and concave but your aim stick is extended and domed and provides better accuracy. So i would go with either the CQC or the Vortex the Vortex takes longer to get used to but when you do they are great.

If you have an Xbox One controller, it won't fit with PS4 KontrolFreeks.

I play a lot of advanced warfare and I was wondering what thumb stick grip to get because there is a lot of debate that CQC is better than vortex so I was wondering what i should get?!
Honestly it comes down to personal preference. I personally really like the vortex for call of duty if i am using long range weapons or even medium range but for run and gun I go with the cqc for both sticks. Also I personally never run anything other then cqc on my run stick
Hi there great vid I play bf4 and most of the time when I'm shooting a target I end up with my knife out and I get shot I have changed the configuration and the same happens but I end up going prone it's very annoying I was wondering would the vortex help this? Thanks
