I agree that the inferno are my favorite high rise control freeks, The vortex, which is briefly shown in the video, have a low rise concave cap, which is good for your left thumbstick.
Yes. I use that mid rise vortex for my right stick because I don’t like high rise on right stick. And also dont use any kf for movement.

I use the Inferno's for the left stick and I use the Battle Royals for the right. I've tried just about all of them and gifted a bunch. This the best combo for me.
inferno high rise were the first kontrol freeks i got ever. best ones and should have stuck with those
For years, I always use Inferno for my FPS.
I recently bought galaxy, and bruh they feel so uncomfortable, especially one is mid rise on left stick and pressing down to sprint. Definitely only going to use that stick on any game that doesn’t require clicking down the stick
Personally I really enjoy the ones that are not concave, mid height. I tried the concave tall one and mid height, and it's not as accurate because my thumb tends to be at the edge of the stick instead. I can roll my thumb better with a round top better.

I had the Galaxy and it’s great. My only gripe with the concave sticks is that it wears off easily. However, i don’t experience it that much with Convex except once.

Hell yeah, the Inferno is the very best to use on your right thumb stick. But I do wish Kontrolfreek made a low or mid rise Inferno thumb grip for the left stick. I use the low galaxy thumb grip on my left because I find it weird and awkward to use on the left side for some reason

@@Tymac4real I ordered the new LOTUS thumb grips. They’ll be delivered at my house today. They look very comfortable and grippy. I hope so. If they do have low or mid rise INFERNOS I haven’t seen them and would be awesome if they do. I’d definitely use the either of em for my left thumb stick
Just bought a set of infernos that are Mid-rise on left and High-rise on right from GameStop. I think they changed the product after Steelseries bought them out.

I just brought the infernos yesterday and didn’t know if it was good and thx for this review
If you still feel like you need better aim. You can get precision rings aswell. You can play on higher sens with good snaps/180s and it's helped me alot with tracking when ADSing. Helps with recoil aswell when trying to control it
Luckily I picked the Inferno when I seen them at Walmart. Never choosing another one. 🔥
If you play claw the galaxies are best, if you play standard inferno is best.

The great thing about the galaxy’s grip is that they’re not gonna wear down as fast as the infernos but tbh it doesn’t matter which ones u go with🤷🏽♂️

@@wtfman5795 which ones do you personally recommend? And I've heard they're not very good if you use low sens and I play 50 vert 75 hori and ads 1.0x is 21 and 2.5 is 29. Idk if that's low or high
kontrol freeks are a godsend and definitely worth a pickup but i find the grips on them starting to moosh and become less grippy in like a month

@@onlybetasgetoffendedbystri8030I've never tried any before. I just ordered the infernos for the PS5 since I heard that they were good... I'm thinking that some of them wear off because some of them don't have the best grip/design etc, and some of them do?
i like galaxy more. my fingers dont slip off the edges while with infernos i still had that problem like with default thumb sticks. putting down the galaxies because they have "weird" textures and make your thumb position in the middle, isnt bad. in fact its better. playing with thumbsticks that make your fingers slide off the edge is not good for gaming. its all preference though. saying one is better than the other isnt true. if youre someone who doesnt have trouble with your fingers slipping off the edge of flatter thumbsticks then inferno would be good for you. if youre someone who does have that problem and needs the galaxy textures to tell you to keep your fingers in the middle for the most accurate aim then thats for you.
I have the galaxy purple kontrol freaks and loved them. But they only lasted a year since one of the runners ripped. So Ima try the inferno now

I have the inferno and been using it for a couple of years..really like it.. might give a go with convex instead to see if i improve with that
If you go with Convex, get the VORTEX. You’ll love em. I like the concave grips as well. But Convex is so much better imo. My only gripe with concave is that it wears off so quickly for whatever reason. My Galaxy’s i had are amazing, but they only lasted 3 months unfortunately.

@@dankdealerdan5545 It only lasted 3 months cause of excessive use. But it’s also because I received a bad one. Which doesn’t happen at all. But you’ll love them. It will take time to get use to, but you’ll never go back to normal sticks. Your Kontrol Freeks will last a long time. Just keep them clean. Like after a couple months, the grip and everything will wear off. That’s when it’s time to buy some new KF

Ive owned multiple kontrol freeks and ive always had a pair of galaxies that go smooth within the first month. The inferno has a better type of rubber, go with inferno

I uses the cqc ones but my standard stick length is longer than the default ps5 controller. Used to use the inferno on ps4
I like the way u buy them how when the left is low and right is high because i find my movment to be better when the left is lower but that just me

I have Kontrollfreak Vortex the you dont recommand , and I am a high Fiamond rainbow six player. And I can highly recommand them. I tried the other oens to, but if you need to switch fast drom buttons to right stick. It is no doubt the oune withour a hole

I tried those but the skull and coni’s a lot better they don’t fall off as easy. They are a little harder to put on.

I actually really like the convex kontrolFreeks they feel better and help more.
I like the galaxy purples there comfortable accurate

I already went through galaxies and the inferno shape is better for apex which is the hardest fps game out there.

imo, the infernos just arent it for people with small hands, the infernos are just too high for me, but the galaxy midrise was perfect for me
I ordered the purple ones, hopefully they are good and improves my aim

I have a set of OG ultras that are close to 10 years old and I think they outplay the new ultras and all others.
Also my infernos ripped after a year
There was a guy who made one that pivots when you rotate the stick keeping the stick center and having leway due to the ball joint on the attatchment. Its exactly like a kontrolfreek but better. I cannot find it now can someone help plz.

After using the thumb grips and precision rings on my controller, my aim sens went from 7 7 to a 12 12 with better aim

They are pretty good I’ve had 2 pairs. I will say midrise is perfect high rise is way too much especially if you want your movement to be consistent they do have good grip and makes longer range shots to be more precise. The durability is kinda mid especially if you play everyday. Both my pairs ending up ripping after 8-10 months of heavy use. I would say definitely worth the money but you will see if you use the high rise it will feel really bad at first takes a good while to get used to those in my opinion

I’m new to using kontrol freely and only ordered them the other day. Do you use both of them at the same time or only one on the right stick? Bit of a noob I know😭
don’t use em myself but it’s pretty useless to have one on the left one as movement doesn’t need to be as accurate as your aim so keep one on your right stick
again don’t use them myself so if this is bad advice then sorry just going off what I’m thinking

hella late, but actually wrong, perfect controlled movement with a kontrol freek for left stick will always compliment perfect aim on right stick, strafing/movement is way more responsive.

Lol no. The Galaxy includes a mid-rise and high-rise (4:14) while the Inferno include 2 high-rise. Personally the Galaxy gives more value because you also get a mid-rise which is perfect for movement (left analog stick).

@@patrickbjordahl3239 Make sure you're using the right kontrolfreeks for your controller. Xbox and playstation both have different sizes. If it still doesn't fit you can try applying heat on the bottom plastic and push it inside as you're applying heat, so it bent insides and fits better and tight
@@shahdaniyal6300 it's for the ps5 they fit snuggly I was running the kontrol freaks rings aswell I've gotten rid of those and it doesn't happen as often... I just ordered a custom aim controller with the stick heights higher so I'm hoping that does what I'm looking for without the extra adapter toggle... I like the high riser seems like it gives me the best ads control but when I'm flicking in a shotgun fight a little to much pressure seems to knock em right off .
I had the infernos couple years into ps4 then I sold it a few years back now I just got Xbox S and immediately missed control freaks

I have galaxy ones. I hold my thumb on the edge and its perfectly fine and conftrable. U just need to get used to high thumbsticks but I would definetly recommend them
Convex Will be better for edge grippers I use the sniprs and battle Royale its better for edge grippers
@@1upnolan340 I found that hybrid is best for me and I also play on the edges. I like the vanguard or black ops 4 model
If you’re holding the edges of the thumbsticks, get Convex. You can do it with Concave as well. It’s just whatever is comfortable to you. Personally Convex is better imo.

Lol did you just say affordable. I was looking for some today and I was met with a price tag of $20-$30 Canadian. Now for rubber thumb grips that’s pretty overpriced.

Right? I purchased the precision rings for this situation. It made it worse, got rid of it off of my controller a year later, noticed I had better aim. So I’m a sold to buy the inferno sticks
EDIT: took me a long while to realize my aim was so inconsistent with the rings on lol
Which Kontrol Freeks are you using and for what controller? Certain ones work for certain controllers. I find the Kontrol Freek Inferno quite snug fit on the PS5 Controller

I’ve had my Galaxy ones on my ps5 controler for over a year and it has never move. Still feels like new.
Have you locked them? When you insert you need to rotate a bit for the bottom grips to catch properly.
Can I ask, my controller have no tumb grips like I removed it cause its broken, can I still put a kontrol freek on my controller??

Yea... you do not know what you are talking about. Having it convex as it was on PS controller 1-3, makes it easier for your thumb to control it, by letting your thumb roll around it, per say. I much prefer that, over a concave design. As many things, it's personal preference and absolutely nothing else.

@@gabrielmcfarland8229 I feel it works pretty well, but found it to be a bit of a pain to get on and of the controller and as a result wears down pretty quickly. seems that if you want it to last awhile, you need to leave it on the Thumbstick, but its not great with other games.
