Your movie may not be good in quality in terms of acting, story. However having it being about a guy with a pot on his head killing people with pans and even the funny moments of him is like the most redeeming thing for the movie and I love it. You did a good job on the movie

Panman getting assaulted by a salt grinder is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Also him dropkicking the punching bag got me good. This movie is awesome.
I unironically love panman’s design. Like it’s actually really good. It is the mystique, the style, and that unique feeling that you only get from the best masked characters. The way he carries himself and moves is enjoyable to watch and easy to read without seeming like overacting.
Panman is incredible and not enough people know it exists.

The guy who made it mentioned in a directors commentary video that PanMan actually originated as a high school student film in 1999, years later deciding to revisit the concept and turn it into a full movie. So it makes complete sense that it feels like a student film lmao

I think the idea is to make a very low budget, "intentional b movie" to secure at least some legit sales then the numbers are inflated while illegitimate money is pumped in so they can then claim the illegitimate money as legitimate taxable revenue but that's just a hunch. Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" might be the most notable example of a movie *suspected* of this scheme, whether or not it's true I don't know.

So I have a theory for why the Writer/Director played Pan Man:
He was the only person with a head that could easily fit inside the available pot.
That was my first thought! I was like, ‘wow I’m jealous they found a pot big enough’, then, ‘oh never mind that guy probably just has a small head’ 😂😂😂

When I was younger my teacher thought I was faking my balance issues and to prove it she made me walk around with a pot on my head in front of the whole class to give me the attention I wanted. (My disability would not be diagnosed for eight more years, had to get away from my mother and yes, my balance was better when I could not see something, something feedback loop and I was terrified thus tense) How close I was to becoming pan man.
