I replaced the rear brake lines on my e53 X5 and did not have to lower the rear axel. This e39 is too tight to access the line crossing over the axel. My e39 right rear line is leaking exactly like the one in the video. I will not attempt the left rear until it leaks. I will coat the left rear line before corrosion wins. They rust through right where the round hole in the plastic bottom cover exposed th brake line to water spray. Nice job getting it done!
Been there with a sedan one, on a floor with a jack. Btw copper is the way to go on these in my opinion. This escalated exactly like my projects do. It's bit funny how your accent in English as estonian is exactly the style as Finnish have it too.
