      Thanks so much Bro Aaron. This Hyper Truggy looks and handles quite nicely! She is an absolute ripper on flat ground 👀. It's got a Tekno feel to it because of its lightweight profile. I'm super impressed with it so far man.

    I would put reinforcement like tape or a touch of shoogoo and drywall where it goes over the shock towers and body posts, i got 500k in center, 100k in rear and 30k in front, i goofed and reversed the front and rear. And no tiny cap head screws in the mount😁💪

    Hobao are such an underrated brand, it's a shame they seem to fly under the radar in the racing world. I've had the electric roller for 2 years now, set it up using an X8 4268 2650kv motor on 4S, which I use at my local clubs' outdoor track (very short grass / roots / dirt). After opening the diffs and shocks and fitting the following oils - 10k cst front diff / 50k cst centre / 7k cst rear diff, 600cst front shocks and 550cst rear shocks - I set about adjusting the chassis to suit the track. Being now much lower to the ground, and using wheels/tyres designed for track use, it was impressive right away... Only this year have I ventured back into National racing here in the UK after 29 years away from it. For the meetings I wanted a modern Truggy, so I went for the SWORKz T2E. Being a new truck to me (and me getting used to racing on much larger national-sized tracks again), I did struggle with it at the beginning, learning its jumping and flying characteristics amongst handling woes... But prior to attending the meet, I was adamant I'd wanted to use the Hobao a few times as it truly deserved a shot or two on the track during practice - it didn't disappoint at all... so much so that I chose to use it in one of the qualifiers as it was lapping quicker than the SWORKz. Several people following the occasions it went out on track had come along and passed comment on it with a smile, saying they weren't excepting a "truck like that" to do so well. It proves that Hobao are competitive and can rub shoulders amongst the racing brands in the world, I just wish some more people would embrace that. I'll be using the SWORKz at the next meet in July in the Truggy class (the BRCA here in the UK run both nitro and electric 4S Truggies together at the same time due to low electric entrants), and I've also chosen to enter the 1/8 eBuggy class, using a new Hobao VS2e, which is now set up and ready for action on track. I really can't wait! Hope you enjoy that SSTe of yours, they're a belter of an RC!

    Hobao make some of the most underated trucks out their, big fan of Hobao. I to have the SSTe 80% truggy, VS1 80% buggy, VS2 80% buggy & the 1/10 TT truggy.

    How would this compare to a team associated, tekno rc, or losi truggy? I like to run something different than everyone else. If driver skills were equal, would this keep up with higher end brand truggies?

      Appreciate you stopping by and checking out the vid Charles. I have a Tekno ET48 2.0 bashing build and Arrma Talion. It drives close to a Tekno in terms of smoothness, agility and handling. Bashing wise, she's as tough as the rest of my Truggies. Check out my first bash with it.

    How is the steering on this truggy? I would be running it on a track. My experience with most RTR type vehicles is the steering radius is not great.

      @@user-xc3ih8rr3q absolutely. This is such an awesome Truggy man. I absolutely love mine as you can see on this video. She's lighter than all my Truggies. • @CommanderAstigRC
      @CommanderAstigRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      @ProtosRC depends on what kind of driving you do and what environment you're driving. I love the looks of both trucks 😍. Handling and stability on flat ground I'll give an edge to SSTe. It's got that racing personality. On hard to extreme bashing I'll give an edge to Punisher. It's got the beefiness to take extra beating.

    • @CommanderAstigRC
      @CommanderAstigRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      @ProtosRC damn good valid questions Bro. In my experience both are about the same. I haven't had any major issues getting parts for both. Rchobbyexplosions .com carries lots of Team Corally parts and eBay. HOBAO USA got the SSTe covered in terms of parts and eBay as well.
