@@kristianruvinoone thing i didnt understand the native iso for Scinetone is 125-500 and for slog3 is 800-3200 so it mean we cant use iso 2000/1500/2500 ? Only two iso can we use ? And same for 125-500 . ?
@@iammandeeppunian no. those are native. Anything after 125 may introduce noise. Then at 500 is goes away mostly and then anything after 500 it comes back. Hope this makes sense. You can use other ISOs, but the native numbers provide the least noise
hello from France ! thanks for your video! I love the fact that it s easy to expose....but slog 3 can go to high iso (12 800 for exemple) without noise but s cicerone can t go high in low light....
Eyy, love France! haven’t pushed the ISO in S-Cinetone more than 1000 and I didn’t have any issues. Yes, you’re right, with dual ISO in slog3 this profile will preform better in high ISO but grading and shooting s-cinetone it’s a breeze. Thanks for watching! 🙏🎥
Good video but that list of applications covered most things lol. Would you say it’s suitable for well exposed studio for two person multicam video podcasts because the dynamic range does not have to cope with bright skies etc and the turnover demands make faffing around with log footage a chore?
What about if you add saturation in camera and add decrease black levels in camera? Would that give a more contrasty saturated image that wouldn't need to be done in post?
Yeah, that could definitely work! Personally I don’t like to bake things in my footage, I’d rather do it in post, unless it’s removing saturation or sharpening cause that gives me more flexibility later on. I usually use S-Cinetone at default, it just works great. Thanks for watching! 🙌
No, you can use other ISO too. It’s just that the native ISO is the ideal ISO and preforms the best but you can crank it up quite a bit without introducing lots of noise. Thanks for watching!
Ah, got ya! Yes, I set mine to 60% and expose for the face as skin tones looks more natural, so I find that to be the sweet spot. But it really depends on the look you’re going for. The higher the zebras, the flatter/less contrasty skin-tones, and the lower the zebras, the more contrasty skin-stones/image. S-Cinetone preforms the best with zebras from around 55% to 65%, so give these settings a go! Thanks for watching guys!🙏
Amazing bro, thank you for the video! Keep up the work💪
Really appreciate that bro! Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching! 💪
This is the best video explaining the pp11 thanks a lot
Thank you so much man! It really means a lot!🔥🔥🙏

Very good video, Kristian. Thank you!
Thank you so much! Comments like this means so much! 🙏🙏🙏
So, can i shoot in different ISO's with good results ? is ISO 200 the only ISO I should use ? Thank you

what project settings are you using
This settings are for fx3 or fx30?
This is shot on the A7IV but you can use the same exact settings/s-cinetone on the fx3 or fx30. Thanks for watching🔥🙌
@@kristianruvino thank you!
@@kristianruvino great content, by the way! Subscribed!
@@tgrigoras2000 thank you so much!! Appreciate it. More videos on the way 🙌
Don't need to overexpose slog on 10 bit mate. Only on 8 bit it was usefull.
How is the ai thumbnail relevant to this content of the video?
WHAT ZABRA ?
Not sure if I understand your question? If I use zebras?
@@kristianruvino this guy has nothing productive to say. Classic cornball. Nice video, I will be getting back to S-cine for my sports videography.
