Glad its not just me that judges companies/people on packaging..... I did my track rod end this week and i thought my steering arms looked big and possibly aftermarket. Seeing your standard arms have answered that question, deffo uprated aftermarket arms but not Gwyn Lewis as mine are black. I have a feeling they are terrafirma as there was alot of terrafirma upgrades on when i bought it but either way its not hard to see why Gwyn Lewis have built such a good reputation. Those diff guards look brilliant!
...those boots are a damned good idea....as for the clamp on diff guard, mine had been on for nigh on 20 years through shitloads of heavy off roading and only left very light rust on the diff pan....maybe I was the exception though mate :)
I agree 100% Paul, I have never actually witnessed a holed pumpkin due to a clamp on diff guard, only heard of it... however..... your axle did have just a spot of rust protection if I remember correctly??

A Defender with decent drivetrain should be able to go anywhere.. however, with me at the wheel.. I'm not so sure??
That ball joint reminds me of the Trunnion's you used find on old BMC cars..

They are the Muts nuts Tom. They make the whole axle face 6mm thick!!
