    Hi again PC... after watching your video, I've got 3 questions:
    1- What type and brand of brush (sable) are you using? Which one do you recommend? Natural or synthetic hair, W&N, raphaele, or? Which would be your all around workhorse (natural hair / brand xxx / size 0 for example)?
    2- Is it possible to achieve such results with and ordinary synthetic brush?
    3-What is your estimated time for painting a miniature like those ones of this video?

    • @ThePaintingCoach
      @ThePaintingCoach  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      1. I use Rosemary and Co Series 33 and use a Size 1 for almost everything. I use a 00 from the 323 range for detail. I think natural hair brushes work best.
      2. I don't know - close probably. I am about to test the Rosemary and Co Red Dot synthetics 👍🏻. The key to a good brush is that it holds a good tip
      3. I batch painted so not including drying times, i think you can do a squad of 5 in 4-5 hours

    What kind of brush did you use for your "armorwash"?
    I normaly use a glazebrush.... But it ist often a little bit to much.
    That's why i'm curious how you manage to control the amount of paint so well.

    • @ThePaintingCoach
      @ThePaintingCoach  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Just a normal size 1 brush - I dab it on a paper towel before I go to the model though so this takes off any excess

    I tried this method on some terminators - I'm having some issues with getting the bony matter + speedpaint medium mix on the model without ending up with coffeestaining, especially on the larger panels.
    Since it's my first time using speedpaint I'm sure it's a user error.
    Does anyone have any tips on using them?

    • @ThePaintingCoach
      @ThePaintingCoach  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The coffee staining usually comes when you put too much paint on - i find if I touch the brush against a paper towel, it takes most of the moisture out so that when I get to the miniature, I have more control.
      Also try to work on one area at a time and move the brush towards the area you want to be darkest

    How long do you spray them with wraithbone?

    • @ThePaintingCoach
      @ThePaintingCoach  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not sure I understand your meaning? I spray them from above once the zandri dust is dry - and enough so that the wraithbone on top is opaque but gives a nice transition in the receses

    The Terminators are looking so great but it feels so overwhelming for me as a bad painter. If I am able to block in all the base colors with contrast I am already happy. I’m not able to get those fine strokes. Even with fine brushes highlighting makes a mess so I skip the step.

    • @ThePaintingCoach

      Hmm no idea why it would just rub off 🤔 what primer are you using? You could also try a varnish over the initial layers - gloss to protect and then finally matt or satin when you are happy with the paint job. Just don't use matt before the armour shading step 👍🏻

    Hello, when you do sub assembly paintings, how long do you leave the paints to dry before applying glue to the parts? secondly, what sort of glue do you use when gluing the parts and not melt the paint off the mini? and how much of the glue do you apply to make them sturdy?
