I have this issue on my armpits. I stop shaving for a while and my armpits lighten but they still do get dark eventually...I would love advice for that as well.
Chelsy Lynn hey girl!!!! I had this problem too! I used a mixture of Indian clay and acv and it worked WONDERS for me! Also I took a pumice stone and LIGHTLY “dry brushed” my underarms. I did this with my knees/elbows and I LOVED IT. this is what worked for me :) it’s worth a shot!
TheAudiobrownies thank you so much for this helpful tip! Can you please suggest any substitute for indian clay to go w/ acv?
@@TheAudiobrownies hi! can i use aztec clay mask for this?
Wax your armpits dont shave it .
Also, way more expensive, but I switched to laser hair removal. It made a huge difference. My pits aren't completely lightened but it's definitely in much better shape than when I waxed, shaved or let it grow freely.
Omggggg I was waiting for this video for years in going to be a baddie after this
Me too
A baddie yet pls ? And pls, what and what did you use, in what order? How frequently and for how long ? Thanks in advance
really interesting that this is connected to pcos, I've suspected for years that I had this as I have all the symptoms except for infertility/irregular periods. It started at puberty, which you don't mention here, but that hormonal change seems to cause dark inner thighs for many women too.
Dr. Dray you really have it all😭😭😭 you’re so freaking gorgeous, smart, and have a great personality😭 not fair.....
Can you make a laser hair removal for people of colour!!? I’m so worried to go to get it done but I’ve herd such bad things as different lasers affect different people?!? Thanks!
THERE IS SAFE LASER HAIR REMOVAL FOR PEOPLE OF COLOUR !!! I HAVE DONE IT
Make sure that they use a 1064 laser (the 1064 NM YAG laser is one of the best from my research). 1064s are better for our darker skin!
I have done Brazilian laser hair removal and it is heaven!! I’m Mexican and have been darker down there all my life, so I can tell you it’s helped out for sure.
I get laser hair removal. I go to laser away. It's in a couple states. Its not cheap but it's worth it
What’s a good laser I can use at home? For dark skin tones...
Hi Dr. Dray! Went to Walmart today (needed more sunscreen) and I found “Palmers Fade milk” that claims to even out skin tone/ dark spots on the body. It’s main ingredients are: Alpha Hydroxy, vitamin c and e, and SUNSCREEENNNN!! lol could you pleaaaseee review it. Thank you so much. Love you!!
Did you use it? Could you share your experience? I wanna buy it but I'm hesitant
YOU DONT NEED TO LIGHTEN ANYTHING. YOURE BEAUTIFUL SIS. AND IF YOU DONT LOVE YOUR IMPERFECTIONS THEN TRY TO FIND WAY TO LOVE YOUR BODY ❤️ LOVE YOURSELF’S QUEENS! 👑
You’re an angel Dr Dray 🌹
Dr.Dre this video is very helpful because no physician would ever discuss this condition with me, much less offer a solution. It has been such an embarrassment and I have none of the medical conditions mention but this started early during late childhood or possibly my early teens I assume due to friction. I am so thankful for the tips that you have provided and will try them and hopefully get results. I guess I would know by now if I had PCOS? Anyway, if it works I guess I'm going to have to send your kid to college one day although that won't be needed there'd be so many scholarships coming his or her way!!👭❤ your kids, and even Tybee, would be brilliant just like you!😊
wow Dr.Dre! I had no idea!
@@agostinodublino1387 lmfao i was waiting 4 someone to say this
So informational. Great video... Thank you so much doc 👍👍👏👏👏
I love amlactin! It’s saved my skin
Dr Dray all your videos are so informative plz make video on exfloiting gels they are good or not
😀😀😀❤️❤️❤️ can you do a video on healthy makeup like Jane irdell also, ways to prep the skin for surgery to reduce scarring. Say for example someone knows there getting surgery they want to reduce scarring then after care!😀
Never knew this was a skin condition people deal with I’ve learned something new today! Nice topic Dr. Dray ⭐️ To you, your mom and Tybee 👉🏻❤️👌🏻
Yassss been waiting for this!
Are those products effective when the hyperpigmentation is there for years? If not what can be used (or treatment) to remove or fade?
Dr. Dray., I enjoy your dermatological medical lectures
Exactly what I wanted to see!!!!!!
very strange but i tried Ambi for post acne marks and it works great. but i tried it on areas of friction hyperpigmentation and it actually made it noticeable darker even after just 1 week!
In what order do you use the Ambi Fade Cream, Differin and (Amlactin) AHA lotion, again? My understanding is to use the Differin and Ambi Fade Cream together at night and maybe the AHA lotion/cream the day after. Am I right?
I try everything, and nothing works. But I start IF and the dark go away in like 3 month’s completely, I don’t know how but, one day I was shaving and 😳🤯 white again 😍🥰
What is IF
Cameo Rose intermittent fasting, or fasting. And I go low carb and almost no sugar. Is the best for your body
Morning its happy Friday here in NZ
Have a great day everyone 😊
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 so needed this 🤣 Happy Thursday!! ☀️
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO
Dr. Dray, may you address any skepticism about the cancer causing hydroquinone? I’ve read that long term use can have a negative impact on your health and can cause endocrine disruption as well as a slew of other problems.
Thank you Dr for this video. 😍😍😍😘😘😘
I have same issue hyperpigmentation on my thighs and creases of my legs. I subscribe someone channel and she shared about dermal md intimate lightening product and I gave it to try and very happy because it works! Keeps the dark skin a lot lighter than any other skin bleach I have tried

Could you do a review on the kojic acid skin lighting soap?
I use Papaya, mulberry and glutathione lotion for fading dark spot and lightening my inner thighs and underarm . This lotion is very effective .i have heard about kojic acid too.
@@cynthiagoode2082 Could you please let us know where did you buy it? How much is the price? Thank you!
She showed Nineless Kojic acid serum (1%) in the multi-product video. I'm going to try it soon. Got it at Yesstyle.
HS causes dark spots after the wounds heal.. js that’s why I’m looking
Hi Dr Dray....thank you for doing your videos.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I have pcos and I struggle with this problem.
I love Amlactin for my dry feet and legs due to my type 2 diabetes. The rest of my body parts tend to love Cerave products. Thanks for the tip with the hydroquinone.
Could this regimen work for hyperpigmentation left behind by acne on the back?
I would also like to know this
She recommended adapolene for acne scars on another video she uploaded
I battle with PCOS and so i had dark thighs and underarms , i also had occasional acne. However using Papaya, mulberry and glutathione lotion has made a great difference.I have used it for almost a month and my inner thighs are lightened and my acne are cleared. I will suggest you try that.keep me updated
Cynthia Goode which brand of lotion did you use?
@@chalklover983 is called kstimes Papaya and mulberry Even tone cream. It contains papaya and mulberry extract, soluble collagen and vitamin C. Also if you can afford it, get their Tea tree oil acne cream and always apply that at night before bed. These are all hydroquine free, that is why i use it.
Are we layering at night the same as you would a face routine ? Where does the hydro come in? Before or after diaper cream?
Hello! I think I have hyperpigmentation on the outer corner of my eyes. What can I use to remove it?
Thanks :) your videos have been super helpful
Thank you for all your videos.
You are AMAZING 🌺👏🎉🌺
Laser worked perfectly for me. I would suggest you give it a try.
And how much did that cost you ( compared to the products she talks about ) ?
Thank you for being so informative. I have one of those medical conditions and I thought I could do something about the coloration, like TH-cam tips. Now I know I need to make an appointment with my doctor 😅
👍🏻👍🏻 Great hair today.
@DrDray how do u compare Amlactin to Eucerin lotion? Both have AHA and Ceremides. Is one better for one thing vs the other.
Yes I wanted to ask the same question as she mentioned the Eucerin in an earlier video this week. I would like to buy one AH lotion or cream if possible for the entire body I guess.
Can you please post a list of alternative products because I wasn’t able to find all the products you have mentioned
You are the best! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!!!
God i wanted this video from so long 😭
Tell me why I was just looking for this yesterday in your videos!!! Yasss💚💚💚
Which is better: paula's choice aha 10% body lotion or amlactin rapid relief?
Hi Dr. Dray. What are your thoughts on the ingredients in the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Yogurt Pressed Serum Moisturizer for the face?
Please make a video on how to lighten dark underarms..I am from India so please also suggest a product available in India if any.
same thing
Happy Thursday Dr Dray..see you tomorrow x💙🤩
Hi Dr. Dray. Happy Thursday. I really missed your mom and Tybee 💜
Would a BHA like Ceraves SA lotion/cream work in the same way as AmLactin? I can never find anything good with AHA in Canada, over the counter.
Check on Amazon. I use papaya , vitamin c, glutathione and mulberry lotion and my inner thighs and underarms are cleared and lightened. I use it as a body moisturizer
@@cynthiagoode2082 cynthia, what do you mean with papaya? Is that papaya extract in lotion or the real papaya fruit?
Dr dray why don’t you put more AD’s so you can make more money off TH-cam you seriously deserve it!!!❤️💯💯💯
I have pcos and insulin resistance lol, diagnosed at 12, I'm 29 now... Once I got everything in order after a few years the dark around the back of my neck (only visible when you really looked), went away.
Hey! I also have pcos. When you say " got everything in order " what did you do? Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Dr does the color of the underwear make the area darker?
And what underwear material and shape is the best for Hyperpigmentation down there and for the general health of the area.
Thank you so much for your work 💕💕
Hi dr dray! I have quite severe eczema and i live in a cold climate (finland, europe) and that's why i have trouble with it year around. I have found very useful tips from your videos, some that even my own treating derms never told me. Thank you for that.😊
Lately i have noticed that fragrance in my life triggers my eczema. I have cut fragrance in everything a long time ago, except in my hair care. That's because at least here most fragrance free hair care is literal garbage. My hair gets greasy in a day and looks so gross 😬 i gave up and washed my hair with my normal fragrance containing shampoo&conditioner and the next day my arms got inflamed with eczema. Do you have recs on fragrance-free hair products? Are the 'no nothing'- products any good? If someone here lives in EU and knows good one let me know! 😭
oliviav: Can you get this shampoo in Finland?
- Neutrogena T/Sal Therapeutic Shampoo Scalp Build-Up Control
It’s fragrance free and contains Salicylic Acid 3%. I really like it. 👏
Can you do a video on fresh stretch marks? I’ve been working out and gradually shedding weight. I’ve been losing a pound or 2 a week so my skin can keep up with my weight loss. If that makes sense? Ok thank you! 🤩 you da best
Great info as always.
What about dark under arms please when nothing seems to work.
Dove clear tone deodorant is what helped me!!! Try it !! It works . I used to have really dark armpits and that deodorant helped so much . Give it more than a month
Papaya, glutathione and mulberry lotion worked and is still working amazing for me. It has lightened my inner thighs and underarm. I use it as a body moisturizer. Kojic acid also work for some people. Hope you find something that works with your skin type.
@@cynthiagoode2082 Which brand?
Scion Roll-on!!! 😍😍 been using for 3 days can see the difference already 😊 let me know if you want to get a hold of one 😍
Hello, Dr. Dray! 💙 are creams for barrier preferable? So the other ingredients can still penetrate well right? Or anyone in the field, please answer me 😅
