    Thank you so much for all the info! The way you describe and explain everything is so helpful and informative! I absolutely love all the recommendations you also provided, normally some would find it overwhelming but the way you put it all into categories, and how each recommendations help with certain functions really give you the best way to find an a product that could help over time with pigmentation. Thank you so much!

    I personally like to use azelaic acid on my armpits. I used it for the darkening but due to its anti bacterial and skin exfolitating properties, it helped with my odor and my pore cloggins too.

    An antiperspirant recommended to me by a dermatologist ages ago that is also great for people with sensitive skin is Almay. I had a severe reaction to antiperspirant because apparently I have extremely sensitive skin (to the point the doc had to do a biopsy to make sure it wasn't some bad medical issue). Almay has been really great. No irritation. Effective anti-perspirant. Just a note, I am blessed enough to not sweat as much as the average person. My sister who leans towards hyperhidrosis cannot use it. It's basically useless to her since she needs clinical strength antiperspirant.

    Don’t go see your provider, because they don’t know how to reverse AN. it IS due to insulin resistance, which means insulin needs to be decreased. You do this by eating fewer carbs and by eating less often. Eat less sugar, ultra-processed food, grains, and seed/vegetable oils. You may also want to incorporate fasting. Many have been able to completely reverse AN when they go low carb/keto/carnivore and only eat 1-ingredient whole food. Depending upon age and how well you’ve taken care of your skin, skin cells turn over every 1-3 months, so it is possible to reverse all sorts of skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, AN, acne, etc) with a low carb/keto/carnivore diet and fasting.

    Dark underarms are due to residual deodorant. I got rid of mine by washing my underarms with a microfiber washcloth, daily. (Steps 1&2 use antibacterial bar soap)
    1. Pre-wash- wet underarms and apply soap with hands to remove first layer. Rinse.
    2. Scrub with microfiber washcloth and soap. Rinse.
    3. Wash as usual with regularbody wash/soap. If you shave your underarms, you'll do it in this step.
    You won't get any razor gunk either if you use this method. That's because that gunk is residual deodorant.
    You don't need lighters or special deodorants or exfoliates. The microfiber washcloth is the exfoliator.

      May I know if it has to be a special bar soap? Can it be any bar soap or liquid body wash? Thank u 🙂

    • @ruthbzrb
      @ruthbzrb ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @JJ.___. I use Dial Antibacterial bar soap, white or gold bar (i like the scent of the white one better). I don't feel like the brand or type of soap matters. It's the microfiber washcloth that makes the difference. I like the antibacterial bar soap because it helps with underarm odor as well.

    • @ruthbzrb
      @ruthbzrb ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @JJ.___. I tested both soap types this morning and I found that the bar soap does better than body wash. I apply the soap to the washcloth and I found that the bar soap doesn't wash off the washcloth as much, giving me more lather and a gentler scrub compared to the body wash. Hope this helps.
