NH, England? I'm in Western Australia, took ages for my bike to get delivered, but worth the wait! I am thoroughly enjoying all my short rides with run-in limitations. After you take delivery it definitely noticeably improves over the first 100km, gears smooth out and engines become more predictable. I ordered a bunch of OEM accessories from India directly, the mark up from the aus dealer was almost 300%, so I might make some videos on windshield, sump guard and a non-oem rear rack (RE don't make a rear rack) if you are interested. Either way, I don't 'hope' but KNOW you will enjoy this bike!
I , also an owner of hunter 350. Exhaust note seems not so perfect. ? An air cooled 350 cc engine using semi - synthetic oil ( 15 w -50 grade )..... from my experience insufficient to cover up performance & engine overheating , if throttled above 60 km / hr at an average. However good the engine may be , after of certain period of time ( within 2 years ) it will affect engine performance. As a general guideline , many motorcycle manufacturers for 200 cc or above power output bikes..... FULLY SYNTHETIC OIL recommended. So better , shift to good quality / premium fully synthetic oil of the same GRADE ie ( 15w - 50 ) at the earliest . The oil reduces heat production , carbon deposits & keep the engine parts clean . lam using Motul 300v 15w - 50 fully synthetic engine oil since first service. But don't expect that service from the dealer - service centres. ( refill only company semi - synthetic oil ) Please study the difference between the two...from engine oil experts.... 👍
Man, i love the Hunter 350! It is such an amazing bike! Riding it everyday since last week when i got it from the dealership, the Rebel Blue color looks so good ❤
haha, pretty much. Probably see you around on the roads. Clear weather today, I just got in from a ride around joondalup. Make use of the clear day while you can!
@@MrCombfoot I hope to be able to do a thing like that soon. Currently riding a Super SOCO TC (electric moped); going for my R-E Learner's permit in a couple of weeks.
@@spittyrides doing in jondalup? Going to upgrade from the moped or keep it for a while? motomax have a good selection of R-E bikes, join the J-series bike club haha
@@MrCombfoot Joondalup licensing centre is no more, so it'll be Mirrabooka for me. I'll hang on to the TC until I'm fully licensed and ready to upgrade. I was hoping the H-D x440 would be released in Australia but they've said they've got no plans to release it here, so I'm tossing up between the 350 Hunter and the 350 Meteor.
@@spittyrides didnt realise they closed at joondalup. One just opened up near me in Butler. I may be biased, but I would recommend the hunter. The Classic and meteor are good, but the hunter has revised tuning, shorter wheelbase and steeper rake. So its a bit more agile. But overall I'd say test ride all 3 in a day at motomax and choose whichever is most comfortable and resonates with you. Honda shop in joondy I test rode norden 401's and honda CB500x/r/rr + cb650, they are friendly enough but theres long wait times for bikes if you order, they have been having stock issues. I rode around on my friends ninja 400 for a while while he was shipped out with the military and would recomend that or the Z400 if you want a sports bike, better than the honda sports bikes in the same catagory. I test rode the Z400 at mack 1 in wannaroo. KLR650 was too big for me in the city and has engine issues, the versys 300 was too small for me and hasnt got a 400 version yet. Kawasaki are also having stock issues, At cullys yamaha in balcatta I tested the R3/MT-03 + R7/MT-07 Lams. they were friendly, I bought my riding gear there and was reasonably priced but i found the yamaha bikes lacking, 300s too small and the R7/Mt-07 is just feels bad buying a sleeved down bike you cant flash and upgrade (the CB650r you can at least flash it to full, 40hp -> 90hp, power if you go for your R class). I did also ride the interceptor 650 and continental, but I felt that the 350 bikes were more comfortable and pleasant to ride, and I am not a power fiend, as long as I can go 110kph. Vnice bikes though. But all the dealers around have demo bikes, and its totally a legitimate thing to just call them up and try a different bike every weekend, or even a few different ones. Test ride the dealer bikes even if you are planning to get a second hand bike, most gumtree sellers wont appreciate people just coming to test ride.
I will be getting this exact bike when the arrive at the dealership in NH. Can't wait.

The bike cant be started with the stand down if its not in neutral, it has a kill switch mechanism.
A fellow MotoMAX customer. Dude, we're practically related now.
