the new hair is FIRE ! can't wait to see what you do with the TR. but a small part of me wishes you stayed patient and picked up the 25' tS! either way, I see a Q upload, I watch it, I like it, and I gotta leave my comment.
uh just a recommendation, i have a 2024 TR in black myself, for the 1st 1,000 miles ur supposed to keep the revs below 4k rpms to let the engine break in. that info can be found in the owners manual also.
1:24 Que outside living his best life looking like a relative of Jedi Warrior Ahsoka 🙏🏿 And yeah man you should get the STI short throw shifter that's what I had on my WRX Limited and I was super happy with it. It's crazy that you can still hear that Subie Rumble even with the equal length headers and stock exhaust! LMAO @ 13:44 " What chu said bout my Mama!" 😆 I actually preferred the video from this video it was more action packed and fun to watch, great video brother!
I miss my 22 vb. I highly recommend the cobb shift parts (shifter stop, bushing and plate) and upgrade to a weighted shift knob. That will dramatically change it. Also, these are very responsive to tuning. Have fun!
I still cant believe you bought this, I knew you wanted one for a long time even before the Type S I remember how poorly the Subaru dealer treated you before, so I was surprised you still wanted the car. I feel like that type S was an abused demo car that you picked up early on and due to test drives, abuse and no break in led to some of the issues you had, too bad because it is a great car if you can get one that has been cared for or not touched at all, mine is mint after 5k miles,. I hope you have no issues with this car, I assume you won't as it hasn't been abused yet and you will likely break it in well.
My man Que is looking like a founding father with that hairstyle. As a former WRX owner, I can't get over the infotainment in the new cars. It's like they just stuck an iPad in the middle and called it a day.
Que-I know you are not wild about the color but it looks great with the cladding on the car. Hope the car treats you as well as you always take care of your rides. Thanks for sharing with us!
For me, the bad thing about turbocharged cars for me is that it's so hard to not have a heavy foot all the time. Feeling the boost kick in is really that addicting. I burn through a ton of gas and put myself at risk of blemishing my driving record getting speeding tickets. I know because that was me about 20 years ago. Even at my age now I don't know if I could keep my foot out of the boost.
RIP Type S! When you get more seat time in the WRX can you do a video comparing your thoughts on driving the TR to the Integra? (Seat comfort, power difference, FWD vs AWD)
$3.87/gal for Premium? Wow!! that's cheap!!! Nice to see people enjoying a manual transmission, something that's been on the decline for both the driver and the manufacturer. Also great to see someone know what they're talking about. Too many TH-cam channels reviewing vehicles, blabber the wrong specs and whatnot. Great video overall, Sir. As I'm not just someone leaving BS or a bland comment, we've owned the Subaru brand since the mid to late 80s. Currently own a '20 STI (although my daily is a B9 Audi S4).
It seems lately...you're buying all my bucket list vehicles 😅. What are the differences or similarities of the in the seat acceleration feel between the mx 5 and your wrx?
😆 great question. I drove the Miata for the first time today in about 3 weeks. It feels faster. I noticed the clutch is lighter too. I’m not sure the WRX’s full power is unleashed yet.
@QueTheChaotic do you prefer the shifting feel in the mx 5 over the wrx? And as for ride quality..does the shorter wheel base of the mx5 combined with bilstein dampers offer a similar ride quality to the wrx with it's 19" wheels and firm dampers?
@@overthebars5172 the Miata’s shifter is much better. I’m not a fan of the WRX shifter. I’m gonna mod that first. It’s a little too sloppy. The Miata also rides much smoother. I would say the RF is close in terms of firmness but my GT is less firm than the TR
It can run on 87 just makes like 30 hp less I believe. Could be why it feels slow but definitely accessport needed least off the shelf tune will make 300 whp 93 octane
1st person view wasn't missed. That's slightly less editing if you don't have to cover up your mph too. Dig the WRX but I feel like there's a VW Golf R missing in that spot. Not much manual cars left to review. 😄
I think it's better to see my facial expressions. It's just harder to edit with film from 2 sources. I was looking at the Golf R before this WRX. I couldn't get a solid trade in value.

I'm digging the WRX already. Its been a favorite since the early PS Grand Turismo.

Thanks a lot. The WRX is always on my list but it's like a 3rd choice. The demo I bought wasn't driven at all. It had the same miles from the factory.
Pretty cool. 78 cars for me and I've never had a Subaru so will be interesting to live vicariously through you on this one.

damn those new ones have huge screens.
and ya, your hair is pretty unique. pretty sick. i like to be unique myself.
I switched to the billetzwork short shifter and best decision I made shift are knotchy and super smooth, if that is your thing.
also I would avoid the boomba short shifter, been reports of it shredding the reverse gear.

Get you a Cobb short throw plate. Cheapest way to shorten throw, also Cobb shift stop tightens 1 and 2 gate.
I have one pulled up from another brand on my pc. I’ll look at Cobb
Yo you in a Subaru now. You gotta let that engine warm up more before you take off. Let the rpms drop.
