Securing a homestead is one thing, securing your home is another trouble! Easy home upgrades for security: 3" drywall screws into EVERY hinge and the lock/deadbolt plate on EVERY exterior door. It's silly easy to kick in a front/back door with the supplied short screws, they simply rip the door frame apart when kicked in or forced open. Using 3" screws will allow you to mount those door hinges and lock plates through the door frame and to the 2x4's in the wall creating a nice sturdy door. Never use the door jammers or chairs that you lean under the door handles as they basically turn into a lever and easily rip the door off the hinges IF the door moves.
Being that you're out in the country all by yourself all day long firearm training for you would be a good suggestion then you know that you are capable of Defending yourself just a suggestion good luck with the security
that scary, god bless your doggies for being okay! and thats annoying that, that man was on your property. what you're doing at your home is amazing AND looks expensive, but its a great invesment thanks for sharing! we bought a home last year but are looking for an off grid property to buy these videos are helpful, im taking notes on what we will need
Fantastic! I love security layers! My place in a small city had 4 exterior cameras that were hard wired in. My nerd station room had 2 screens for gaming/media and another screen for security system watching whatever was going on outside. Loved it! I remember watching the neighborhood cats always did a meetup on my deck late at night and it was super weird but I loved it lol.
OMG scary! You are a strong woman and you can do this! Yes, remote access and cameras everywhere is your answer to safety for you and your babies. Hugs Gubba❤️
😅Puppers are safe! Thank goodness! Sorry you have to do all these things but better safe than sorry is my motto. Take care and as always stay safe! Thanks Gubba!😊
OMG 😱, glad to know the dogos are unharmed… geez Gubba it’s great your taken the necessary precautions with the video surveillance. It saddens me to have seen you cry but thankfully you and your pups are ok. you know what? I think a video with you and Dogs 🐕 out having fun on a stress free day would be amazing to see … Gubba and herMini Gubbos 😊😬. Be safe and much love ❤️ to you Gubbger 😬
May be an unpopular opinion but unintended consequences are what makes firearms dangerous. Who wants to hear "sorry" I didn't mean to hit your dog, just trying to scare it off. Thank goodness, this situation could have been so much worse. 😢

A Lady Smith might help with security. The local sheriff can direct you to proper training. : )
Adding extra security is beneficial. I am happy the dogs are safe, but that must have been such a scary experience for you.
