Step by step all problems can be solved. Looking forward to the day the last step is taken in this problem and you can relax once again. Stay strong as always Gubba!😊
The adventures of acquiring an older Homestead... Your problem was actually a blessing in disguise... At least now you know what other issues have to be handled... I understand it feels like the world is crashing down on you right now but believe me someday you will look back at this and laugh... What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger... You will come out the other end of this a much wiser and experienced Homesteader...May the Lord bless you and keep you... May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you
Holy Smokes Gubba!!! I am sooo happy you found someone nice to help you…. I feel so relieved you found the issue and that this will be fix soon enough, yay !!!! I worry for you out there in your homestead at times but I know you can handle yourself well. You are doing great Gubba and I am super proud to see how you take care of business in your own. Lit & I wished we could have met you the time we happened to all be at the Twitch convention but missed you by a couple of hours 😔. Anywho you get that septic thank fixed and please be safe out there ok Gubba … we love you and keep moving forward Gubbger 😃❤️❤️❤️
Wow what a nightmare to deal with. You are still very lucky to live in paradise despite the problems of home ownership. I so want to leave the city and homestead myself. Enjoy your videos Gubba, you're very brave in taking the chance on homesteading. It's good to see there are others out there with the pepper/survivalist mentality gives some of us hope.
Hang in there Gubba.. the power of prayer is amazing! like you said you found the source of a leaking toilet (darn wax rings) and it sounds like you now have a course of action and a plan of attack, and just think once you get it back in order you will know what you have and how to properly maintain it. Nothing you can do but stay positive and deal with the situation at hand. You have the entire Gubba Squad behind you and i am sure with all our love, prayers and support this will all come to pass and it will be something you learned from. see you soon
I know it to late and you have your problem fixed, but the septic tank itself looks good for operational level if the leaching was the problem when you pulled the concrete lid off water would come out all septic tanks depending on size of house has to have at least 1000 gals of water in it to operate at all time, the septic tank is not dry . I would say the line from the basement to the tank is your problem. don't know where you live but in most cases there is two concrete lids to a septic tank.Who ever pump your tank should pump both side. Solids and water on side closes to house and just water on the other side with just a little forms of solid. The water side is the most important keep the sludge out of it to protect leaching field. If cast iron pipe it just fell off the front of the tank just replace main line from house to tank and pump your tank. Nice talking to you Hope this helps but maybe to late. Marry Christmas and God Bless America
Make sure when the septic people are there that you watch them drain and empty your whole septic tank because they're notorious for telling you go flush the toilet when you get back it's all sealed up and you didn't get to see anything and actually they didn't drain it so make sure you watch him drain it completely
Glad things are almost going back to normal, I hope you're having a good day

We all need a bit of luck and a prayer in situations like this for sure. 👍

Small steps every day towards your goal will get you there. You got this!
Most excellent Gubba; thank you for the follow up on this
Bit crappy that your neighbours didn't sort it before you moved in. Just give chat a bunch of shovels. Easy. Hope it gets better Gubs.

I’m glad you are on the way to getting this situation fixed. Now the mods don’t have to dig you an outhouse lol
I want one 😆
@@GubbaHomestead lol me too and an outdoor shower for summer time. saw some homesteaders in AZ build one.
Gubba our homestead had so many issues we had to completely drill a new well last week 😅 I understand. I’m here for ya girly ❤
We couldn’t find our septic either it was under a slab of concrete. It took 3 months over summer to figure out the whole ordeal.
And re did the whole plumbing. Expensive but worth it ❤
That's so crazy! I'm glad you found it and were able to get much of it fixed.
@@GubbaHomestead I’m proud of you for trying to do all of this on your own. Without my husband I don’t know if I could so I applaud you! ❤️

The important thing is now you know where your septic tank is! Pump it out every few years and hopefully you don't have anymore issues.
I swear that gubba Homestead is one big jersey shore lol
best show
@@GubbaHomestead lol definitely I'm a big fan of that gubba girl she's hilarious

Told you not to open the plug!!! Better to let a plumber do it.:)
I can only imagine the bill for all of this poor you
Electrical or plumbing problems are the worst.
👍👍👍
My septic guy has a metal rod he throws in the ground to hit the tank
You can still hang your clothes outside wet call it freeze dry it works guarantee my mom used to hang her clothes out in the winter time
the "it's not marked' edit is still messing with me
