I've got this in the oven right now!!! This will be going in my homemade soy yoghurt tonight for dessert (thank you Jill🙂) and in my oat groats for breakfast. I didn't have almonds or dried apple so I added sunflower seeds, 1/4 c oil-free dried tart cherries and 1/4 cup of goji berries. I used maple extract since I was out of vanilla. I can smell it now!!! We love you, Jill. Thank you!!!😍
I was browsing through 2 of my mom’s Betty Crocker cookbooks specifically for granola recipes and neither one called for any oil or a fat! I was very surprised-there is maple syrup in the recipe. I would have to look at the date when the books were written but I wonder when adding oil to everything became so popular? Even some of the salad dressing recipes in theses specific books have only 1/4 cup of oil while 1/2 seems the norm today.
Jill question about the dates in hot water.. that looks like how I make date paste. Could I just add that and if so what would be a good starting amount to add?
Hi Jill....will you estimate the fat, protein, and carb percentages of this recipe? Trying to do KETO VEGAN foods and this might work considering the high fat content of the nuts and nut butter. Thanks
BTW - great interview with the Daltons on The Health Feast a few days ago!!! Let's all help Jill get to a million subscribers!!!

Yummy. Must try this one. I usually just add date syrup and cinnamon and bake for about 10 minutes. Lasts for ages.

Interesting for breakfast i found it as snack tho😅
Will fatfree PB powder mixed to a paste work? I'm on a calorie deficit at the moment!
You said you'd link your yogurt recipe but I don't see it.

I can't have as many nuts as your recipe calls for😢 Can you make it with less nuts and maybe more oatmeal?
How do you measure dates by the cup?
Just placed in the cup whole based off what I've seen from her other recipes
@@sr-kt9ml In all her other videos, they seem measured before hand so you don't see the technique.

Jill does a great job of including this info in the printable recipe, which is linked in the notes!
Do you have a recipe that does require an oven? I do not have an ovenm
You can heat it on the stove in a non stick pan . Stir while heating . Takes about 10-15 mins max . Low to medium heat. Let cool and store .
I will try this recipe in my freeze dryer with fresh apples. Thank you!
looks delicious!
