    My husband loves granola. He is not WFPB, but he eats typically what I eat. I’ve avoided making granola before because it always calls for a lot of maple syrup which is too sweet and expensive. I’ll try this though! Thank you!!!

    • @WellYourWorld
      @WellYourWorld  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can always make it less sweet by using less dates! I hope you enjoy the recipe!

      My husb too. He does like it more sweet 😉 but late 60s and very healthy. We make recipes our own. For us we do support animal welfare but have friends who hunt and farm. All respect diff views. I like Michael Pollan: eat real food, not too much and mostly plants (incl avoid labels and sides.) Don’t forget to eat for joy too as French, Greek and Italians have done for centuries. ✌️🌱

    I had my own granola recipe so I combined yours with it and it's great! After the second bake I turn the oven off and turn the oven light on and let it sit for a couple of hours with the door closed. I like my granola a little bit dryer than the 2 bakes make it. I have some in the oven right now. Thanks Dillon!!

    Just made this granola today. I worked out beautifully!! I can't believe I am now able to make my own granola thanks to you guys! I also made my own soy yogurt but didn't have your recipe so I used the Happy Pear's recipe, which is basically 4 tbl of starter and a liter of whatever soy milk you have, in a closed jar, and pop it in the pantry 2-5 days (depending on temperature). I just kept jiggling mine until it stopped being liquid and had a yogurt-like consistency (5 days for me). Your granola went beautifully with it. I believe your yogurt is made from scratch and far healthier, but for now, this will have to do for me. Thank you for your amazing recipes! So glad they're SOS free!

    Yeey. I recently stayed in Tucson AZ for 2 months and was like: "woooow granola is soo expensive" (looked at the "naked bear" ones in Walmart): tiny bit of granola for like 7 dollars. Started making my own sugar free one. Then got into your granola video. Now back in the Netherlands I was ordering groceries online and found out that my favourite vegan wfpb one here is (14 ounces for 3,50 dollar) for half price coming up week :D com one USA create some more affordable granola factories yourself :P but thanks to Well your World there are alternatives.
    Also looked for Hippeas chips (puffed chips) and that was 7 dollars in Walmart while here you pay 2 dollar. I thought the USA was waaaay ahead of the Netherlands in vegan products as al lot of the wfpb doctors are from the US

    • @WellYourWorld

      Yes, it can get very expensive very fast! Way to go for the Netherlands!

  • @leslieb6676

    Store bought granola is often such a letdown. So expensive with questionable ingredients and looks and tastes like dry sawdust. Yuk.
    I like how flexible your recipe is and you can adjust the amount you want to make.
    I also enjoy a good crunch. Thanks for another quick and tasty 😋 recipe. Good for all year round and would be the perfect trail mix.

    I just retrieved the 2 browned bananas out of the trash, so I could make this granola tomorrow. I know, why throw out browned bananas? I didn't freeze the oatmeal, so I will give it a sniff test to make sure it didn't go rancid. I don't have vanilla powder (who knew?), so I will add just regular vanilla extract.

    So last October at the beginning I decided to make your granola. I've been making in my instant pot homemade soy yogurt. So for 4 weeks I'm ate your granola with soy yogurt about a half hour before I went to bed every night. It turns out I lost in 4 weeks 15 lb. I am totally plant-based for over 25 years But losing this weight was a surprise. I am 5'5 and at the time I was 130 lb. My doctor said I need to be at least 120 lb. So I need to ration out lol My granola.
