      I only butter anymore for sauteing and butter coffee/tea. Would you recommend this for both? Also, I had an idea of keeping this in the freezer in ice cube trays, I still have a few 🙂, and only taking out what was needed at a time? Ty for your channel and beautiful message. 🙏🙂

    Thank you. I love the addition of cashews, as they give a lovely buttery flavor to the finished product. I learnt eventually, to keep it in the freezer in cubes, as then, I can make a larger amount to store. I have used it to make a butter cream to ice a cake, and it works perfectly.

      That is wonderful! I keep mine in the freezer as well and take out as needed. I’m so happy you love the creaminess of this butter and the way it worked out as an icing on your cake.
      Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience, I really appreciate it 🙏🏻🌱🌺

    Hi, your video is lovely to watch and instructions clear. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Question: is there a substitute you can suggest for avocado oil, as we don’t find it in our region. Thanks.

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you very much for watching. 🙏 Yes, you can use any oil, as long as it's mild in taste, doesn't have profound flavor. So far I've used grapeseed oil and olive oil. Olive oil is good because it adds a complexity. I would not recommend using extra virgin or virgin olive oil because it is naturally bitter and will add bitterness to the butter. What oils are available in your area?

    • @sujatharajagopal772
      @sujatharajagopal772 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Namaskaram. Thank so much for your prompt response 🙏🏽. I have seen sesame, mustard, olive, flaxseed, sunflower and corn oils, apart from coconut oil on the shelves. Maybe I could find grapeseed oil. Thanks again.

      Thank you, dear, for subscribing and for the feedback. I never tried storing the vegan butter after processing it... So I can't take the liberty to advise you on that. The freezer method works very well for me; it preserves butter’s taste and textural integrity very well.

    • @jacksprat429
      @jacksprat429 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Try freezing in ice cube trays, which take up little space. Once frozen, you can place the cubes in a ziplock bag in the freezer, and take out, as needed.

    What a beautiful video ! Loved the idea of vegan butter , yummmmmm 😊😊
    one question though - can we substitute the coconut oil with something else ? Coconut oil has a peculiar smell and taste ..

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You are right. Virgin coconut oil has a very profound flavor. That is why it is important to use REFINED coconut oil (also known as triple filtered coconut oil). It is a necessary ingredient for this butter because of its neutral flavor and ability to remain solid at room temperature. 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you so much for watching 🌱🌺

      Yes, turmeric is not needed. You can replace lemon with apple cider vinegar.

      All nuts and seeds do. That is why it is important to sock them prior to processing. By soaking nuts and seeds with a pinch of silt and a splash of lemon, we activate seeds and nuts and breaking the digestive inhibitors, making it easier for our body to digest and extract the necessary nutrients for proper function. I’m explaining this process in this video 👉🏻 WHY and HOW to SOAK beans, nuts, seeds, legumes, and grains + Phytic acid and soaking time tips

    looks so creamy.. Can i use this butter for baking a bread? and why don't you recommend this butter for grilling and roasting? thx

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can use this butter for baking 👍 as to the second question, oils, which are considered fats, are an integral part of cooking. Each type of oil has its own chemical composition, which means some oils are better suited for salads, while others will help you achieve that perfect roast.
      One of the most important factors to consider when choosing your cooking oil is its smoke point. The smoke point of oil is the temperature at which it stops shimmering and starts smoking. The smoke point is also called the burning point of oil and can range from relatively low 325 F to very high (520 F).
      Typically, smoking is a sign that your oil is breaking down. When oils break down, they can release chemicals that give food an undesirable burnt or bitter flavor, as well as free radicals that can harm the body. Before using any oil, make sure that its smoke point can handle the cooking method you plan to use.
      Butter, avocado oil, olive oil, sesame seed oil have a low smoke point. They are suitable for baking, light frying, stewing, but not for roasting or grilling.

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Refined coconut oil (or filtered coconut oil) is a necessary ingredient for this butter because of its neutral flavor and ability to remain solid at room temperature. You can experiment with it, for sure, but It might not solidify property and it will not remain solid at room temperature if there is no coconut oil used. 🙏🏻
