      I only butter anymore for sauteing and butter coffee/tea. Would you recommend this for both? Also, I had an idea of keeping this in the freezer in ice cube trays, I still have a few 🙂, and only taking out what was needed at a time? Ty for your channel and beautiful message. 🙏🙂

  • @jacksprat429

    Thank you. I love the addition of cashews, as they give a lovely buttery flavor to the finished product. I learnt eventually, to keep it in the freezer in cubes, as then, I can make a larger amount to store. I have used it to make a butter cream to ice a cake, and it works perfectly.

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That is wonderful! I keep mine in the freezer as well and take out as needed. I’m so happy you love the creaminess of this butter and the way it worked out as an icing on your cake.
      Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience, I really appreciate it 🙏🏻🌱🌺

      Thank you, dear, for subscribing and for the feedback. I never tried storing the vegan butter after processing it... So I can't take the liberty to advise you on that. The freezer method works very well for me; it preserves butter’s taste and textural integrity very well.

    one question though - can we substitute the coconut oil with something else ? Coconut oil has a peculiar smell and taste ..

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You are right. Virgin coconut oil has a very profound flavor. That is why it is important to use REFINED coconut oil (also known as triple filtered coconut oil). It is a necessary ingredient for this butter because of its neutral flavor and ability to remain solid at room temperature. 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you so much for watching 🌱🌺

    Hi, your video is lovely to watch and instructions clear. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Question: is there a substitute you can suggest for avocado oil, as we don’t find it in our region. Thanks.

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you very much for watching. 🙏 Yes, you can use any oil, as long as it's mild in taste, doesn't have profound flavor. So far I've used grapeseed oil and olive oil. Olive oil is good because it adds a complexity. I would not recommend using extra virgin or virgin olive oil because it is naturally bitter and will add bitterness to the butter. What oils are available in your area?

    • @sujatharajagopal772
      @sujatharajagopal772 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Namaskaram. Thank so much for your prompt response 🙏🏽. I have seen sesame, mustard, olive, flaxseed, sunflower and corn oils, apart from coconut oil on the shelves. Maybe I could find grapeseed oil. Thanks again.

    Thank you for sharing butter looks delicious. Is the 1 cup refined coconut oil measured after melting. Please share a lactose free biscuit or cookie recipe. I have a 4yr old grand daughter that cannot have any dairy & baking biscuits & cookies is a challenge. I make cakes with oil & fruit juices, water or dairy free milk. Many thanks. Take care, keep safe & well 🙏🙏🙏

      Thank you so much for watching the video. As to coconut oil, the measurement is for 1 cup of melted oil. I have several cookie recipes that I love and I plan on uploading them in the near future. I really appreciate you letting me know what you want to see from me. I hope you and your grand daughter enjoy this butter as much as my family does. Keep me posted on how it goes for you. Warm wishes to you and your family. 🌱🌺🙏

    hi My son doesn't like coconut flavor can I replace it with Olive oil?

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Gargi, If you use refined coconut oil there will be no coconut taste in your butter. Refined coconut oil (or triple-filtered coconut oil) is a necessary ingredient for this butter because of its neutral flavor and ability to remain solid at room temperature. 🙏🏻🌺

    This recipe looks so good! Can I substitute coconut oil with another neutral oil because I’ve been hearing so much negative news about refined coconut oil being bad for heart health because it’s a saturated fat that increases LDL. 😢

      @positivepranic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m using avocado oil for the second oil in this recipe, because of its rich buttery flavor. But you can use grapeseed oil or olive oil if you wish. If you like to go with an olive oil be sure not to use extra virgin variety because it can add bitterness to your butter.

      All nuts and seeds do. That is why it is important to sock them prior to processing. By soaking nuts and seeds with a pinch of silt and a splash of lemon, we activate seeds and nuts and breaking the digestive inhibitors, making it easier for our body to digest and extract the necessary nutrients for proper function. I’m explaining this process in this video 👉🏻 WHY and HOW to SOAK beans, nuts, seeds, legumes, and grains + Phytic acid and soaking time tips

    What is your recommendation for grilling/roasting, why isn't this one ok? Is it okay for pan frying?

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For grilling or roasting, I would recommend grapeseed oil. Grapeseed oil is low in saturated fat and has a high smoke point, which makes it a healthy choice for all kinds of cooking and grilling.
      The smoke point is literally the temperature at which the oil stops simmering and starts smoking. When the oil is heated past its smoke point, it decomposes - it loses its beneficial nutrients, generates toxic fumes, and creates harmful free radicals.
      This butter can be used for pan frying but not on high heat.

      Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words. The butter stays good in the fridge for up to 4 days. So I recommend cutting your butter into bars and storing them in the freezer and then just take them out as needed. For more information you can refer to this article I wrote with detailed instructions and all measurements and the recipe. 🙏😊 positivepranic.com/creamy-vegan-butter-vegan-butter-substitute/
