Yep, I noticed that too. But the worst thing he did is the way he istaled bearings 😱 The bearing nests shold be heated up to ~120 °c and then you put the cold bearings inside. They get inside like a dream and without any hammer.

Not only don't you use the inner ring but I'm pretty sure you should pack them with grease. My theory on this channel and about 20 others just like it, is that it's a rigged. Someone has set up a bot system and pays these people a few bucks to sorta refurbish different items and then they collect any TH-cam money. I found a channel that was 3 months old had 5 videos and like ten thousand subs but each video had over 10 million views each. There are some where you can hear in the background someone wrenching on another project. Easy money just find a item that works sorta,trash it out some more and then pay a person 5 bucks or whatever to "restore" it and some else 5 bucks to film it. Then have 5 or 6 channels,edit the vids and upload and then turn the auto system on to constantly replay the vids, like printing money

What is fake is the "finding random stuff in the forrest when i go for a walk" and the condition of the stuff he "restores" He clearly paints or dips the things in some sort of solution to create a impression of rust or age. Maybe even some reverse editing. pay attention to the "rusty" components before and after, no pitting from rust at all, also the rust/ageing is always the same colour, and comes off very easily. But check out the xbox resto, or some of his other electronic restorations, they are the most clearly faked.

Why do the rubbers look like new when the saw is supposed to be old? You don't paint the inside of a motor or hit the inner ring of the ball bearing. This restoration is a fake.

Bullshit bullshit bullshit. 1. Noone "just finds a chainsaw" sitting on a cut tree like that. Did the previous owner not think enough of his saw to even take it home after work ... or even to fix it if it stopped working. How lucky, just to find it as a friend was filming you. 2. All these "old machines" he "fixes" are dirtied up to look worse than they are. Plastic does not rust. Alloy does not rust like that. Any chainsaw motor and blade would be covered in oil and sticky shavings.

Never knew they made chainsaws that didn't need an oil mixture for the fuel to work. Won't be long for that chainsaw to have no compression and seize up.
@@peterfedor9288 Well, based on my little experience with 2 stroke engines, the oil is in quite dark red colour (Like a blood from vein). So it dyes the fuel in red - reddish colour.

U can't tell by looking at gas if it's mixed or not with yellow oil(that's why I don't like these oils - can't see the difference). I have workshop and do engine repairs(fyi james), so I know what's going on.

I wish all these Asian rustoration channels would skip the fake “found” part and just do tear down and cleaning. Would make it seem more realistic and somewhat believable.
bearings must be completly unsealed (lips of the sealing ring are oiled by gas mixture) and installed by outer ring , gasket is out of sense because it causes a gap in front of the engine body and its tension, silicone is enough, use some grese when intalling needle bearing

Они ещё и поршень при сборке задом наперед воткнули.Замки поршневых колец могут попасть на окно в цилиндре,и сломаться.Стрелка на поршне должна смотреть в сторону выхлопного окна.

Not at all, small bearing can be easily fitted in to the shaft of bearing housing. Heating producers can be done with big and critical equipment.

Always drive on the outer race of a bearing when installing in a housing, inner race when installing on a shaft.

да это он её и ставил 38-12. Смотри, покупается пила на местном "авито", снимается кино как он её отдриставрировал. пилка закидывется на месяцок в сырой подвал и снимается новая часть дриставрации, потом монтаж этого высера.
Они ещё и поршень при сборке задом наперед воткнули.Замки поршневых колец могут попасть на окно в цилиндре,и сломаться.Стрелка на поршне должна смотреть в сторону выхлопного окна.

The last 2 of these rebuilds the chain were on backwards before the start. Maybe that is why they were discarded.

24:38, dont hit inner ring hit at the outer ring otherwise use bearing puller & to avoid contamination to bearing journal open the seal always after the bearing installed
