That is abuse by the user. I have seen stuff like this for sale. It takes an idiot to abuse this equipment. It was not staged. The oxide coating on the cast parts takes years of being left out in the elements to form that .
I hear they use spray oil and cinnamon powder to simulate rust/dirt, a lot of these restoration vids are fakes, especially the ones coming out of 3rd world countries.

I have a bit of background with 'Huskavarnas,' 'Huskvarnas,' 'Husqavarnas,' and most importantly, Husqvarnas. First, HusKvarna, where the company HusQvarna was started in the late 1600's by the King of Sweden to build muskets for his army. If you look at the name as 'Husk varna,' it is Swedish for 'remember to warn.' I first started running Husqvarnas when I managed a forestry research station at WSU. I have also been building handcrafted log homes for over 50 years. I still (not Stihl) have at least 25 Husqvarnas in my shop. I would have hung that poor saw from the rafters in my shop as a reminder of a sad ending to a very good saw. I will save this video for use in teaching the log building courses that I teach. I have a whole series of photos and videos of "How not to build a log home." This will have a place in that lineup.
Well, almost. Kvarn is "mill" and Huskvarna simply means the "mill of the house", the house being the now ruined fort Rumlaborg. Husk is by the way norwegian, not swedish and is something completely different. Cheers!
Tengo una 61, que compre en 1990 y que funciona todavìa a pesar de los años de uso. Es muy liviana y ràpida. Ha perdido muy poca fuerza pero todavìa sirve bien. Saludos
The Huskies are still hear in Newfoundland we are still using them and aways will so long as we can get them i work in the lodging industry for 45 years and i loves the husky saws and the Johns red were the only 2 saws we used ❤❤❤❤❤

It's great that you found the "golden grain" - The holding company AB Electrolux is a Swedish household appliance manufacturing company founded in 1919, which is one of the world's largest companies in its field 🤠
A fellow used to rebuild huskies and jonsereds and selk them for $250 in the mid 90s I think. Big saws they were. He never painted them, so they had that rough rustic look, but they ran good.

A bit narcissistic to think you alone have the power to bankrupt a company that has been in business for longer than you’ve been inhabiting this earth, but nice try. 😂
If you raced before 1986-7 then Husq was Husq, then an Italian company bought the bike name, didn't buy the tooling or the engineers. They stayed in Sweden and started Husaberg. Eventually KTM bought Husaberg then bought Husqvarna bikes. Guns and power equipment remained a separate enterprise. Those 1986 bikes also leftovers sold as 1987 by the Italian company were really well made bikes. Now they are good bikes, just like KTMs
@@Nudnik1Cagiva was the greatest moto.company in Italy but not marketing wise, with little funds they had the Japanese industries up against the wall in GP500 I remember the blue 125s the red 250s and the green open class of that era :) I must be a few years younger then. Last I had an auto 420 with worn out top end a new 500 top end, but passed the project to someone else. Something about the sound of these bikes, as if the rest were made of hollow aluminum and Husq,. was made of SS Great bikes to work on, every last washer and spring felt like indestructible.

I had a beta trials with the older pentagon cylinder, I thought I was wearing that thing to bits and pieces, kept checking the top end and it looked like new. It was indestructible.
