For everyone that doesn't know: This kind of content does very well on TH-cam and creates a lot of money for the creators as you might imagine if you see the viewer count of currently 46 million. So, the most common way to make content like this is, you take something (like this motorcycle for example), age it artificially so it looks as messy as possible, and then make a video about the restoration process. And this is how you can tell its artificially aged: If you look at the corrosion patterns, you see a uniform patina that makes it look very beaten up (which in itself doesn't happen naturally). However, if you watch the cleaning-up process, you can see that the corrosion is only on the surface. If it would be slow corrosion over a long period of time, you would have parts more damaged than others and deep pitting in the most exposed parts as well as water condensation within the mechanical parts that aren't exposed to direct weather, which would cause corrosion even in sealed areas. The insides of the motor look brand new. If you look closely, there is no sign the camshaft has worn. The oil is still liquid. After removing the surface corrosion with light tools, there is hardly any sign of material pitting left. If I would have to guess, I would say they poured salt water on it for a couple of months to make it look like that. So, yes, you got fooled for money.
Of course they did that. The motorcycle itself is a relatively new generation. We all know that they did the artificial damage, but we don't really care because it is just a entertainment content. And I also blocked ads from youtube anyway. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Es Increíble. La restauración.. pero. Más increíble . Eres tú. Muy bueno para restaurar las motos. Muchas Felicidades por compartir el video. Me Gustó mucho. Quedó muy Bonita y Nueva la Moto..😊
In this video we see some truly remarkable wonders: -rusted plastic parts - unbelievable? yet rusted rusted aluminum parts - unbelievable? yet rusted If anyone believes what he sees and believes it to be true then he is a fool. Plastic parts cannot rust, and neither can aluminum parts; aluminum oxidizes, not rusts. So how were these parts made to look rusty? It is simple, take metal dust (can be what is left after grinding metal with a grinder), mix with salt water (or battery acid), cover the whole thing with a thick layer, destroy / break / tear a few parts, leave the whole thing for a few weeks. The whole thing will surface rust nicely - it will look very realistic but in fact it is only surface corrosion of the mass applied earlier. DO NOT be fooled!
anyway aluminium oxydation is same oxydation of iron its just AlO2 instead of FeO2 its just called rust iron oxydation FeO is oxydation that is applyed on guns and it prevents surface to be taken by FeO2 still this is some serious bollocks piece of film
@@Clonerro Maybe I didn't express myself accurately. The rusted steel parts are, let's say, a reddish-brown color. Aluminum oxidizes quite specifically - let's say white spots appear and aluminum itself turns a bit gray. What we can see on the video on aluminum elements is not a typical aluminum corrosion, but an effect of "covering" the surface with some mixture of mud and metal dust, which after some time became rusty. Either way the video is a fake.
Yeah - it's total bollocks. Apparently brake disc's just need to be sanded and resprayed silver, wire harness just requires a good soaking in...what was in that bath ? - petrol? and plastic rusts.... total bullshit and a BMW logo placed on the front of the cowl? WTF? It's the kind of ride you give your worst enemy.

Anyway, I repeat myself: it's been remarkable a job that you did, and also very intriguing to watch! Thank you!
The guy is a great knowledgeable restorer. As someone who has restored many motorcycles it’s obvious this was done on a budget and not how it should be done Painting the brake discs and rear sprocket hmmm .I’m surprised that the rear damper was good ( I would imagine the rod would be rusty then it’s scrap unless you get it replaced ) likewise a lot of other reused stuff .if you were doing a genuine restoration you wouldn’t do a lot of it like that otherwise it just needs doing again.also any prospective buyer needs to see the old parts.Did we see the brake calipers, they are usually destroyed internally by the time you remove the pistons. I salute this guys skills though with a good budget he could do it really well.
OK, respect for the engine restauration. But the paintjob was terrible. You don't paint brakediscs or suspension and the paint looked terrible. And you never spray plants 😂😂

I doubt.
In this video we see some truly remarkable wonders:
-rusted plastic parts - unbelievable? yet rusted
rusted aluminum parts - unbelievable? yet rusted
If anyone believes what he sees and believes it to be true then he is a fool.
DO NOT be fooled!
yeah i wonder if its even possible to make a bike so deeply devastated anyway and its not even like 70s bike its like 2010 at least
anyway aluminium oxydation is same oxydation of iron its just AlO2 instead of FeO2 its just called rust iron oxydation FeO is oxydation that is applyed on guns and it prevents surface to be taken by FeO2 still this is some serious bollocks piece of film

Beautiful work as always! Well done!
IMPRESIONANTE 👏

Chapeau Messieurs !!!
Nice work indeed! Although, thinking about those plants' leaves back there, receiving all that sprayed colour right in their face multiple times… 🤦🏻♂
Also, did not know that brake discs could be coloured. Anyway, I repeat myself: it's been remarkable a job that you did, and also very intriguing to watch! Thank you!
Salute to you guys for your skills and hardwork. Love it. ❣️

Funny looking 2 stroke
This is all fake
Certainly the "find" was staged, and they probably added a fair amount of dirt and mud to it before filming
Strange how the engine sounds like a fast revving four cylinder sports bike at 41.30, and not a two cylinder low capacity engine.
There are no part to replace unless chain, what an awsome skill you guys have!!! Make more videos like this, would be great!!!
Very good
Ya sure? What about the exhaust? Hmmmmm
Apart from the tyres, I think the exhaust and wiring had to be new. But still an amazing job considering how basic their tool chest was.
Verrrrrrrrrrry nice👍👍👍 bro😮 ...
Minimum tools and supplies. No shop, truly backyard built. Awesome work

When he found it the Tyres weren't flat
My bike was kept aside and removed after 2 years and the tyres did not get flat.
Same observation and he could easily roll it.😮
Çok güzel yaptınız bizler begendik❤❤❤❤❤
Brilliant work it's hard to believe how you transform it from unwanted motorbike to nearly brand new one 🌷🌷🌷🌷
