Stunning and what an important point about this bringing joy and not being a punishment! I haven’t ever done any kind of garment sewing by hand but this has inspired me to go and pick something simple to have a go with. Might need to learn a few stitches first!
Aw thanks, Lynsey, give it a try! I just do a backstitch for seam construction, and a slipstitch for hems. If you google them you'll find all sorts of pictures videos and words, whatever suits your learning style!
