I love your Oxbow pants they look terrific, and the flower button is perfect. I also loved your Stasia dress. I am totally with you on stitching over elastic to make it look as if it's in several channels, or to stop it twisting. The idea is spawn of the devil as far as I'm concerned. I can never get it right, I either overstretch the elastic or don't stretch it enough. A blimming nightmare! Now I either stitch a couple of channels to thread through thinner elastic, or do what Sew House 7 say to do with their Free Range Slacks, stitch down the elastic at the sides of the waistband. SO much easier and simpler!
Love your makes. I have just bought the Oxbow pattern and your button idea is genius! The Gofre blouse is gorgeous- so unusual. Great fix on the hat. I have had to do loads of alterations this summer to take things in. They do take a long time and have thankfully been successful. Also done some mending- even for my husband!! 😂😂. Happy sewing😊. Love your Gofre blouse Debs and your Jenna shirt is beautiful. I have 2 'to change' projects sitting on my table and can't concentrate on what I want to make next until they have been done. Better get to it tomorrow. I'm very fortunate to have the time as I'm retired.
Some lovely makes in there Debs, I particularly like the Gofre blouse, gorgeous open pleats on the cuffs 👌😍 I’ve mended 2 shirts and a trouser leg hem very recently, all back in the mends pile already.. my hand sewing skills need a lot of improvement 🤣🤣
Great video! So many beauties. I think my fave are the Chanterelle pants even though I came so hear more about the Oxbow pants.
Thank you, Janet ! I love both 😊 More oxbows in Octobers vlog I think , and chanterelles in flannel in last week's Friday sews!
I thought your insertion of the wire into the brim of your hat was pure genius. I loved the look of your trouser makes.
Thank you ! Love the problem solving needed this month ☺️
all really wonderful makes, can't pick a favourite!
Aw thank you 😊
