Your Glennon's look lovely on Debs, and thanks for showing us all the details. I love wide-legged trousers but can't wear high-waisted ones. I love how they look on other people though. I enjoy seeing your makes and don't mind if the episodes aren't up regularly, but also know it takes a lot of work to make content/film/edit etc.
I know the videos are a lot of time out of your life Deb but I have to say that I love all yours. Whenever I get a notification I watch and there is always something different in them.
Thank you for posting this, you just popped up on my 'suggested videos' this morning - I really enjoyed it and appreciate the time spent making it - new sub! I'm about to start trousers for the SS season and have the same styles in mind so your video has been really encouraging! Thank you so much 😊
I do love your vlogs and it would be a shame not to get a glimpse of you and your flair for sniffing out more unusual patterns. You must however, do what is right for you. I have made a couple of Ose patterns and love them both. I was lucky as Sarah from Sewing Therapy did sewalongs for them so I had no issues at all. Really fancy the wide leg trousers…….BUT I have loads of patterns not yet made up 😮. Also acquiring a bit of a fabric stash- something I said I would never do😂😂😂😂. Oh the joys of sewing. Lynne
Thanks Lynne! I know,I'm the same 😂 My default when I'm trying not to buy more fabric seems to be to buy more patterns!! I think I have some that I've had for 5 years and not sewn 😂😂
I also bought the Cobalt pants last year and the square body suit pattern but haven’t made either yet. I do like the Arenite pants by sew liberated and the Flints by Megan Nielsen. I love trouser patterns especially wide leg ones and need to stop buying yet more of the same. The Glennon trousers do look great on you though………
Ooo I had a fail with the arenites .... may have been fabric related though....what did you make yours in ? Be interesting to see how close the cobalts are to the Flints too !
@@debsmadethis Deb I’ve made 3 pairs, two in Tencel twill and one in a Sandwashed cupro. The Tencel twill really works for them. Have you got the Elizabeth Suzanne Clyde pants? I made them in a linen viscose and they worked well. You just beat me to buying the navy viscose velvet on Rainbow fabrics at Christmas! I also have the Dawn jeans and the Ash jeans that I’d like to make this year. So many trousers patterns……
Ooo those sound lovely!Definitely need to revisit them. I think it was my polka dots that put me off! No not made the Clyde's but was looking at Meg (sew liberated) s hack for turning the arenites into something similar! Love my Dawn's (fitted so well straight off!)
Since they are approved by you I will try the Glennon trousers too. ;) They do really look lovely! The Arthurs are a bit too barrely for me, I think. On my list for the next trousers to make are the THE QUINN PANTS by Juliana Martejevs. Please make a favorite trousers video!! :)
I will!! The Coe Trousers by Daughter Judy are on my list too. I really have a problem...so many trousers to make and not enough time to wear them all :)
Gosh Deb’s, you have done an amazing job with these trousers. So impressed by your skill! 🎉
Just following the instructions 😘 but thank you! 😊
I love the Arthur pants on you! What fun!!!
Thanks Sally ! They feel so fab. I love the tailored style wb and closure. Makes them feel really smart! 😊
I love your style and your little shimmy dances in your finished garments. ☺️
Of the two patterns, I love the Glennons the most.
Thanks 😊

I've fairly recently 'found' your vlogs, and I really enjoy them. But you have to do what you feel is right for you!
Thank you Mairead 😊
really enjoy your vlogs and style. Not made either of those patterns but they look great. Current fave trouser is Wendy ward book derwent trousers.

Ooo yes do!! I saw the Quinns yesterday and am tempted to do them too 😂 Slightly less volume than the Arthur's ! 😊
