Beautifull! The silk is a horizontal pattern, the scale too big near your face but perfekt for a Shirt or trousers. If suiting your colour sceme in a room, I also would consider 2 big cushions for autumn. Just an idea. Looking forward to the next glimps on your collection. Greetings from Sicily
Gorgeous, gorgeous fabrics! I always struggle with Nani Iro fabrics as not only is the width narrow, but the selvedge is so wide! You have to buy a lot to get enough for a garment, don't you! But then as it's your birthday, buy the pretty fabric. Have fun choosing the fabric and what to make!
Thank you ☺️ I know narrow but sooooo beautiful ! I have 4 pieces that havent been sewn so not allowed any more (even that incredible quilted on !!) A good incentive to sew with them !!
Oh, what pretty fabrics. I hope to see you make up the "one off" tweed you've keptsealed up up for so long one day. I have no precious fabric, but I still put off using fabric when I start worrying that my skills are not up to my plans. I'm using a piece now to toile a blouse pattern that I believe I purchased in 1978. It really isn't special at all, but it's traveled 1000s of miles back and forth across the US in my adulthood.
I have two fabrics, neither of which were purchased from a shop, but from someone else’s stash. The first is a gorgeous wool in a fantastic sapphire color and the other a beautiful chiffon. I am terrified of making the wrong choice but must use them.
If the wool is bottom weight choose a style of trouser or skirt that you wear, breathe, cut and sew, for sapphire wool sounds like perfection 😍 Thanks for watching Sue 😊
Wow, really stunning fabrics, love them all, ox bows in the canvas, dreamy. Can't wait to see what you make. Yes please to a part2, love to drool over special fabric. I am joining in, make a test of the pimpante blouse and have cut into my precious fabric, which is a Max Mara deadstock viscose in Cobalt blue with coral reef print, I am going to feel really fancy!
Wow Debs! You have given yourself quite a dilemma 😄 and I have no suggestions to help you out. All of those fabrics are beautiful, and I am sure whatever you choose will amazing - but you are right, they all deserve to see the sun (or at least be out the cupboard). I suppose my suggestion then is to sew them all 🤷🏻♀️🥰 (and I look forward to Precious fabrics part 2 ☺️)
Thank you ! Yes it was originally going to be a Jasika I have more than 3 metres too so plenty of options!I made the Heather blazer and wasnt keen on it so I think it put me off a bit !!
Lovely fabrics, particularly the Nani Iro - I’m a big fan! I’ve got a Nani Iro lightweight linen fabric that’s very narrow. I’m keen to get it sewn up but like you struggling as to a suitable pattern! It’s too nice to stay sat in my stash ( it’s been there for 3 years….!) ❤️
@@debsmadethis I’m at a bit of a loss but I’m thinking maybe the Assembly Line Cuff Sleeve top. I’ll cut the front on the fold rather than detract from the pattern.

Thank you ! Welcome😊
The silk will be a garment I think, the house is blue turquouse and purple tones 😁
I adore your style and your fabrics are absolutely beautiful! 😊
Thanks Kathy! Glad you like them !

Thank you! Well it has travelled with you for so long I hope you enjoy seeing it made!
You have some stunning pieces of fabric, and each of them needs to be in your wardrobe! Good luck at choosing.
Thanks Katinka 😊 Many years of collecting! You are right they need to be sewn and worn 🫡
You have a tough decision to make! Each one would be an amazing project! my favorites are the oxbow pants and the merchant and mills scout dress!
Thanks Whitney ! I have a feeling more than 1 may happen 😁
Ooh what a lovely decision to make! I especially like the Nani Iro and Liberty fabrics. Defo would be interested in seeing your other precious ones
Thank you, and thanks for watching 😊

I totally agree with you, make them all!

I love the last fabric. I definitely think that would be nice as a blazer!

@@debsmadethis I love the shape of the jasika but never attempted it myself
its definitely a classic....I should have made it whilst I still had that lifestyle! 😂😂

Thanks Lynne. Its such beautiful fabric isnt it! I habe some darker teal in the same print in a linen 😁 What pattern have you in mind for yours?
