I'm installing this right now. Not landing any end on a stud (fuck that) and I'm nailing the board rather than the tongue to the studs. It works and looks fine. All boards are getting staggered
@@fedfreds832 for the smell. Aromatic eastern cedar is used for closets. If you apply a finish, the smell gets trapped, and it won't keep moths and other insects away.
I got mine from MPC lumber in Michigan but I have seen them at home depot in fact I found some panels at the clearance section a couple months ago. I believe any big box store carry them or lumber store. Good luck.

Depends on the size a purpose of your nail gun, but brad nails are best
