I'm convinced that Riot is trying to put down the game as much as possible but support it enough for them to rake in money through cosmetics, they think they've established enough of the world to continue the lore through other games then League

Minor correction, Nidalee isn't considered Qiyana's servant in any technical way. Ixtal isn't the entire jungle area, just about 1/4th (the south west part below the river). The rest is the Kumungu jungle for the most part. It isn't specified where in the entire jungle Nidalee is from, but based on the fact that she used to be from the Kumungu jungles in the old lore (the one with the old map with the institute of war), it is likely she is from outside of Ixtal, tho it could still be a possibility that she crosses the border regularly and doesn't abide by the borders and roams the entire jungle as a whole
I am surprised she doesn't mention Zyra at all. Isn't Zyra supposed to be... consuming like a third of Ixtals jungles? I'd assume that would bother her at least little bit.

Not so sure about Nidalee/Neeko, the impression I got was that Nidalee loves her as a mother/daughter bond or a big sister bond, hence "love takes on many forms". While Neeko has a crush on Nidalee. So Neeko feels romantically attracted but it's not returned, Nidalee loves her as familly, which is a more important type of love to Nidalee. I could be wrong but that's how I've always seen their relationship and that's how I'm reading those lines.
Further supports this later on when Nidalee says "I am pack mother, sister, daughter, I have no need to be anything else" she isn't interested in romance.

I'm still not really sure about the Nidalee-Neeko relationship stuff. I read the line "Love takes as many shapes as you do, Neeko" as more of Nidalee saying her love for Neeko is DIFFERENT. I think it's still meant to be that of familial love, not romantic. Which would still fit with her "world feeling empty" without Neeko. This new Nidalee seems to be a very aggressive, MOTHERLY figure, which is something League is severely lacking in. The way she basically taught Neeko how to live on their continent feeds into that. So it'd kinda suck if one of the best examples of two female champs in the game that actually care for each other beyond romance were to suddenly be made romantic. We got other options for more romantic love to go off of and need more familial/platonic love.

As someone who loves most Lesbian ships, i think that Nidalee and Neeko is better as a puppy crush from Neeko, and Nidalee knows that, but treats Neeko like a sister or something. (I dont mind if it is Canon though... just dont take the pride month spot from Caitlyn and Vi please.) Love takes many forms: Romantic, Platonic, Familial... etc. And considering if Neeko is like a sister to Nidalee, she would be heartbroken if Neeko were to die. I believe that's the case, though Neeko is probably older than she looks. She's also very tall, but doesn't appear to be because she walks leaning forward. Still, it's very well possible that Nidalee sees her like a daughter or younger sister. I think this type of relationship also applies to Udyr and Lee Sin. As in, the writers probably meant to establish them in some sort of bromance relationship, with a very deep spiritual connotation. My main concern (for lack of a better word) is that they were monks. A romantic relationship wouldn't make much sense for people who are leaving their wordly pleasures behind to achieve enlightenment. However, imagine Udyr and Lee Sin just sitting and having a deep meditation session, channelling their animal spirits, making them clash passionately to train and become stronger everyday, fighting until both spirits unmake each other and leave their users mentally and physically exhausted; that would make perfect sense. I think this is what Udyr refers to with "let us spar" and "let our spirits meld".

I don't understand people thinking that the new voice line for Neeko tells that Nidalee finally loves her romantically. Like the whole idea of this voice line tell us that love has many shapes - many forms. There are different types of love, you know like platonic love, parent love or love between sisters etc. So it's just pointing out the fact that Nidalee loves Neeko necessary not in romantic way, but more like a part of her family. I'd say she thinks about her more like a little sister, which she doesn't want to lose...

I'm still not really sure about the Nidalee-Neeko relationship stuff. I read the line "Love takes as many shapes as you do, Neeko" as more of Nidalee saying her love for Neeko is DIFFERENT. I think it's still meant to be that of familial love, not romantic. Which would still fit with her "world feeling empty" without Neeko.
This new Nidalee seems to be a very aggressive, MOTHERLY figure, which is something League is severely lacking in. The way she basically taught Neeko how to live on their continent feeds into that. So it'd kinda suck if one of the best examples of two female champs in the game that actually care for each other beyond romance were to suddenly be made romantic. We got other options for more romantic love to go off of and need more familial/platonic love.

As someone who loves most Lesbian ships, i think that Nidalee and Neeko is better as a puppy crush from Neeko, and Nidalee knows that, but treats Neeko like a sister or something. (I dont mind if it is Canon though... just dont take the pride month spot from Caitlyn and Vi please.) Love takes many forms: Romantic, Platonic, Familial... etc. And considering if Neeko is like a sister to Nidalee, she would be heartbroken if Neeko were to die. (Also just another point, ships like Udyr x Lee Sin and TF x Graves actually dont ruin anything about their past friendships, because they have the same bonds, spiritual training partners for Lee and Udyr, and buddy pirate duo for TF and Graves, they just also love each other. It doesn't take away the friend part.)

I believe that's the case, though Neeko is probably older than she looks. She's also very tall, but doesn't appear to be because she walks leaning forward. Still, it's very well possible that Nidalee sees her like a daughter or younger sister.
I think this type of relationship also applies to Udyr and Lee Sin. As in, the writers probably meant to establish them in some sort of bromance relationship, with a very deep spiritual connotation.
My main concern (for lack of a better word) is that they were monks. A romantic relationship wouldn't make much sense for people who are leaving their wordly pleasures behind to achieve enlightenment.
However, imagine Udyr and Lee Sin just sitting and having a deep meditation session, channelling their animal spirits, making them clash passionately to train and become stronger everyday, fighting until both spirits unmake each other and leave their users mentally and physically exhausted; that would make perfect sense. I think this is what Udyr refers to with "let us spar" and "let our spirits meld".
