The nose thing is what we do! My dad did that to me! I had to have a pacifier for my mouth and one for my nose when I was able to do it myself.
I’m so glad we have a bassinet that rocks so we can just do it that. So great!

This was a great video with lots of fantastic tips. Ima. First time mum as well but my baby didn’t start sleeping through the night until 11 weeks when learnt that bringing her feeds closer in the day filled her up more. It seems so obvious now but I guess we all learn as we go in motherhood. You’re doing a great job and I’m loving watching your motherhood journey xxx

Hi Brittani! I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but you really inspired me to work on my relationship with Jesus Christ. I saw your other video where you did devotionals with your baby, and I was curious what app you used? Love your videos and sweet family!

when you were talking about putting your baby to sleep at 9pm, so you fed at like 7 and then last feeding at 9 before you put her down. what did you do between 7-9? did you keep her up or if she fell asleep did you let her sleep? i try to put levi down to bed at like 9 but if i feed him around 6/7 and he falls asleep i feel like he’s not tired enough to pass out completely at 9. if that makes sense

Yeah so at that time I think she could only stay up 1 hour tops, for her “wake windows”. So since we are on an eat play sleep schedule. We would feed her at, say 7, (right after she woke up from a nap) play with her because we don’t let her sleep so she is stimulated and tired for bed time and then 1-1.5 hours later is 8:00/8:30. (Every time would vary depending on the last nap time).
If she seemed tired before hitting the 1.5 hour mark I would try to feed her one last time and then put her to bed. Keeping it flexible and watching her sleep cues helped.
But we always played with her between eating and bedtime to stimulate her so she is tired!
One time her schedule was off and we let her sleep close to her bed time and she was not tired haha. 🙃 So we never did it again! Haha and since then she’s always ready for bed!
      Hopefully that made sense!

This is amazing! When she would wake at night did you feed her before changing? I notice changing my little one wakes him up a TON and then I spend a long time trying to settle him back down.

We would always change before feeding! Since she was already crying, seemed like the best time! Haha It really worked for us!

Do you mind sharing what dock a tot you bought? And did you still have her sleeping in her room in the day? Thanks so much for the great video!! I’m 14 weeks pregnant right now and doing all the baby research haha. ☺️

Yes! We used the Dock it tot deluxe+ rstyle.me/cz-n/d8gadjchu97
And yes! She sleeps in her room during the day, but no longer in the dockittot, just in her crib. She slept in the living room in the dockittot and when she started waking up from too much light/noise, I knew it was probably time to transition out! 😊 Also congrats! 😍

Oh wow. Here I am giving my son the boob 24-7 worried that he won’t get enough food. But then again my son didn’t meet his birth weight by two weeks. Since then he has gained weight but his latch is poor so I’m always worried about how much he is getting. I don’t get any sleep bc I am up worrying constantly about him whether he needs to get up and eat or not. I don’t use a pacifier bc I worry about him not eating bc of it. My son is currently 6 weeks.

Something we did the other day, because my supply dips every time my cycle come back 😭, is on weekends every time She needs to eat Connor feeds her while I pump. That way I can see approximately what she would be getting if I was feeding her. Then I’ll have that pumped milk ready for her next feeding. This helped reassure me what time of day I need to either pump more to produce more or that I’m making enough. If your little one is peeing and pooping enough you are doing great! Don’t let fear control you, because worrying/stressing only hurts your supply! 💛

Brittani Krebbs ik and I’m constantly stressed and worried about everything. I have ocd and it has become exacerbated from childbirth and I’m actually suffering with post partum depression and being stationed in Germany and not being able to go anywhere bc of covid or see people and get help from Nc has all contributed and made worst. Please pray for me

One thing that's worked for me is I decided to exclusively pump and bottle feed. My baby is 7 weeks old and from the beginning he had a good latch but was too lazy to stay on for more than 5 minutes and then would be hungry every half hour and it really did a number on my nipples. I was also worried he wasn't getting enough so I decided to just PP and bottle feed so I'm able to monitor how much he eats and he stays on the bottle completing his feed better than on my breast. You can give your baby one feed on the breast if you still want to bond with your baby.
