Nice to see Toast again. The video about his journey got me into RMing! I started with a hunt for shiny shadow quilava, and I've only picked up more RM candidates along the way. Still in gen 4, but it's really felt like a pokemon journey slowly doing everything the franchise has to offer. I look forward to seeing everyone reach Paldea!
This man rescued an enslaved Pokèmon from it's prison and gave it the adventure of a lifetime, making it one of the most accomplished creatures in all of fiction. What a life.
I've been wanting to do one of these for a while now (ever since the Delibird ribbon master image started circulating online), but with Ursaluna finally being in SV I might just have to get a proper gamecube setup and hunt a shiny Teddy to journey with! Thanks so much for these videos, they are great
My Ribbon Master is Rayquaza, and the only two I am missing for them so far is the Partner Mark and the Master Rank ribbon for online battles. This helped me a lot with figuring out what exactly I need to do for the partner mark!
Yikes, having a ribbon that’s base on sending your Pokemon out to the world to someone random that you might not ever hear from isn’t the best a good ribbon…
so about the home glitch, I actually have a Shiny Lucario from Alola, and I put in into Arceus not knowing about the bug, later in Arceus, I got a shiny alpha Lucario, so I got the smallest AND biggest Lucario Sizes as shinies 😂
I feel like Once-in-a-lifetime would hypothetically be reasonably obtainable… If you are an extremely popular streamer in a weird time zone. If the Pokémon only needs to be surprise once, after which it can be normal traded back though.
Around 7:10 explains so much to me cause when I transfered my shiny palkia from alola to sc/vi and randomly checked its size it got the mini mark and I was beyond confused on how it got it. Thats neat to know.
I do want to say that I am continuing my journey with my shiny shadow Ursaring (Named Ursa Ruby). Currently he is still in gen 3, but he has all the ribbons. Plan to move him to gen 4 soon. Thank you for the inspiration.
Wow all my team have the reliable partner mark so I didn’t realise it was so rare! Congrats to you and Toast, might be the coolest thing someone can do because so few people have the ability to
Yay! I’m so happy to see this video, I’ve been waiting for Toast’s Paldea ribbons 🥰 Your part 1 ribbon master video inspired me to make my original Swampert I never moved up from the gen 3 Sapphire a ribbon master (at least to the best of my ability, anyway) since she was my first ever starter. Currently she’s in ORAS trying to get the contest ribbons
Thanks for mentioning the size differences with the Legends update thing. My Rotom is hardly a ribbon master but it has the most out of all of them and every region one. Now I have the smallest mark too!!
It's insane to see this Pokemon with these many ribbons I was freaking out with my Pokemon with 5 game champion ribbons but yours crazy it went through an amazing journey
Where are you hiding the Itemfinder Mark, Hassel!?! Where is it!?! WHERE!?! As a note, Game Freak absolutely knew about wanting to make that damn Once-in-a-Lifetime Ribbon as painful as possible because Surprise Trade used to be local wireless (not sure how it exactly works) but with Scarlet and Violet, it's now Internet only.
I just finished to get all the ribbons from gen 4 games and gen 3 (minus the colosseum/XDone cause my GameCube is literally unusable...) also, I just finished to get the 5 shiny leaf and get my Gallade crowned. The only thing that left to do in gen 4 is the Pokéathlon, when I'll get all the medals/trophies I will transfer him to gen 5 and complete all the challenges possible in the games, to compensate the lack of ribbons. BTW, today I just finished the World Ability ribbon challenges and what your video learned to me ? That ribbons is no more mandatory to get the gold one 🙃... Happy to see that Toast finally accomplished the journey, your last video is the reason why I finally decided to start this challenge myself and I'm really happy right, thank you very much 😊
Good to know that my Shiny Kingambit has gotten so accustomed to helping me EV train the rest of my party that he sees himself as a Reliable Partner. Had no idea how ridiculous it was to get this Ribbon until I saw this vid! I'm super glad to see Toast decked out with a fancy set of new ribbons and this is kind of inspiring me to go on my own Ribbon Quest, despite how grueling the challenge seems. But hey, so was Shiny hunting every Regi in Sword and Shield. 65k resets in total, with Regirock being 35k of those...
I don't own nearly every game like this, but I do want to go through all my favorites and make my own "ribbon master" from each now... It sounds like a fun adventure!
Yess, I was hoping to see an update to this And wow I had no idea the Partner Mark was that rare. While I was hunting a shiny finizen (which didn't take that long, all things considered), I used my own Scizor (not shiny, alas) as a False Swiper and noticed I earned it at some point during that process. I never looked into the rarities of it or the exact triggers...I just assumed it was from picnics since that's after I noticed it showed up. Meanwhile my Skeledirge who ate hundreds of ice creams to verify that they didn't break through the "affection" barrier of happiness never got the gourmet mark....funny how that all works.
With the slow trickle of Ribbons over the generations, watch GameFreak add a "Centurion Ribbon" in Gen 12 or something for having 100+ Ribbons and/or Marks on one Pokémon.
I wonder if the surprise trade ribbon could be gotten in a similar way to how the gen 4 games can still use the GTS and such, by making a "fake" version of the wi-fi features, and creating a sort of walled garden, where you can only connect to the one other person on your network.
I didn't know the partner mark was so difficult... Somehow I got it on my Clodsire during casual play. I had it out for maybe 3 minutes tops because I saw a pool in one of the towns and decided to go for a swim with it.
Just watched the first one, refreshed my recommendations and the community post announcing this one is the first post to show up. For once youtube recommendations actually did its job
To anyone wanting to grind the Gourmand Mark the cheapest way possible, the Shaved Ice in Kitakami goes for P500, which is the cheapest of any buyable food item, and the quicker option over making sandwiches. Since it's about a 1/33-34 chance to get it, assuming you get it in 34 purchases, you'll only need to spend P17,000, as opposed to P28,900 if you went with churros or another P850 food, and at absolute worst P136,000 using only the P4000 food items. Alternatively, if you don't mind waiting much longer, you can just have the Pokemon with you as you shiny hunt, so every time you make a sandwich you get a chance for the mark.
Grinding for the partner mark was one of the easiest hardest tasks I had to do because I wanted it for my competetive team. I just set a rubber band on my controller and let it rip for *10 HOURS* to get 6 Partner Marks on max friendship pokemon.
I was so excited for sv home support. I love watching these ribbon master videos! I’m planning on trying for a hisuian typhlosion ribbon master myself. Probably gonna be pain but if delibird can do it I can do it!
This series inspired me to rummage through my hoarded game consoles of ye-olden-times. Managed to recover at least one game from each generation all the way back to Ruby, and I unearthed at least one of each console all the way back to the original GBA. I probably won't go to the extreme effort of getting a Shiny Pokemon from the Colosseum titles, I am thinking about taking on this challenge myself now.
You’re last video inspired me to try this, but not to that insane of a degree. Got a shiny Greninja in Ultra Sun to get all the ribbons there, and did so with Shiny Arceus in BD.
To help with the Gourmand mark: It adds faster when you have fewer pokemon in your party. So remove them as they earn the mark, and it'll progress so much faster
that's awesome that they implemented the special title for ribbons that only a rare few pokemon have. it would have been too easy to just make all previous ribbons just disappear or give a vague tile like "the achieved" for all old ribbons

Love the fact that Toast when from a golden shiny to its lime green color as if Toast has aged through his time collecting ribbons.
“Will hear tons of comments about it”
Guilty as charged
glad to know that toast the scizor is just a little guy. a little guy with a big dream. and an even bigger ribbon collection
Once in a lifetime scares me the most. I'm not much of a ribboneer, but shoot that would hurt me losing days just to gamble on if I see it again
Toast the Scizor has had the most spectacular journey. Thanks for showing us his (continuing) adventures!
Getting a Scyther with all of the ribbons, and evolving it into Kleavor would be a flex.
You are truly an inspiration as to what makes a good Pokemon Trainer. Dedication, commitment, and care for your Pokemon!
Oh, that's why my Quaquavel suddenly started popping out as a "reliable friend"! Thats so strange..I wonder why its so rare
I'm very happy that Toast is a tiny boi. Fits his name.
Toast is a legend. We should be like him.
Around 7:10 explains so much to me cause when I transfered my shiny palkia from alola to sc/vi and randomly checked its size it got the mini mark and I was beyond confused on how it got it. Thats neat to know.
The legend of toast brings me joy
I do want to say that I am continuing my journey with my shiny shadow Ursaring (Named Ursa Ruby). Currently he is still in gen 3, but he has all the ribbons. Plan to move him to gen 4 soon. Thank you for the inspiration.
Toast: sees a size category mark
Also Toast: I will make you teensie! I will make you small!
Heads up!
As of the Teal Mask DLC the item finder mark is now available!
Get your ribbon masters out and grabbing some shiny loot :)
Wow all my team have the reliable partner mark so I didn’t realise it was so rare! Congrats to you and Toast, might be the coolest thing someone can do because so few people have the ability to
Yay! I’m so happy to see this video, I’ve been waiting for Toast’s Paldea ribbons 🥰
Your part 1 ribbon master video inspired me to make my original Swampert I never moved up from the gen 3 Sapphire a ribbon master (at least to the best of my ability, anyway) since she was my first ever starter.
A big toast for Toast, everyone! The ribboned champion rises again, and to newer heights
Toast is canonically 4'9"
I hope one day, when bank gets shut down, we get a ribbon to commemorate pokemon from the old era
Ive got a Shiny Alpha Scizor with all the ribbons i could get, but your Scizor is the GOAT man =)
Let's hope your save file doesn't blow up and Toast remains safe.
The fact that the second Koraidon I caught had the item finder mark is cool (even though it’s probably available now)
this is very cool. Can't think of a bigger flex
Cool video, it's always neat to see the things you can pull off in this game!
The video didn't even loaded yet
@@Ale.10 I was banking on it being true, and it was :)
this scizor is definitly making a blanket out of those ribbons just so it can sleep comfortably with its achievements
Happy to see that Toast finally accomplished the journey, your last video is the reason why I finally decided to start this challenge myself and I'm really happy right, thank you very much 😊
I just imagine that Toast was so excited when the release date for real mask was revealed he finally gets to kick more but
Good to know that my Shiny Kingambit has gotten so accustomed to helping me EV train the rest of my party that he sees himself as a Reliable Partner.
If scizor is in Gen 10, there’s a decent chance its ribbon count will match its level
It's cool being able to see so many Ribbons on one Pokémon.
I don't own nearly every game like this, but I do want to go through all my favorites and make my own "ribbon master" from each now... It sounds like a fun adventure!
I'm so happy this is out, glad that Toast had a safe journey to Paldea. Shame it can't get the once in a lifetime ribbon, but that doesn't matter.
Yess, I was hoping to see an update to this
And wow I had no idea the Partner Mark was that rare.
Once a life time ribbon gave me anxiety thinking you would have had to go through it and lose toast to someone random
This is so impressive. Very well done. And thanks a lot for explaining how to get these illusive marks.
I hope the scyther line never gets Dexit-ed purely so Toast can keep collecting all the ribbons
Wow, unbelievable fraudulence from Professor Hassel. Thank goodness for Toast!!!
Love the fact that Pokémon can wear titles and use them in battle, so cool
Former Alphas should get the Former Titan Ribbon because Alphas from Legends Arceus were Titan in Size and Strength.
I wish you eventually win a world Pokemon Championship to obtain the last rubbon you need, I LOVE your strenght doing that
I was so excited for sv home support. I love watching these ribbon master videos! I’m planning on trying for a hisuian typhlosion ribbon master myself. Probably gonna be pain but if delibird can do it I can do it!
Remember to keep it as Quilava until you get the Twinkling Star and Tower Master Ribbons :)
I’m doing a shiny pyukumuku ribbon master rn because of your first video of the ribbon collecting
Now i know why my staraptor, luxray, and bronzong got the mini mark.
