The Park Ball play was insane, you were in full rights to say "lol screw off" after people suggested what is BASICALLY a non-existent filler Pokeball, but NO, you broke reality just to catch Palkia with a damn Park Ball, and THAT earns you my respect.
It's even more hilarious if you know that Palkia is the god of space and was breaking SO MANY RULES of space (and time) just so it could make 89 clones of itself..... just so Toasty could do this.

The method of putting Palkia in a stinky little Park Ball is so insane because who even figured all of that out in the first place?

Fucken glitches be like that sometimes and I just do not understand how the hell someone does that
I can explain! Glitches like that are not "discovered", programmers that understand a game's software can fetch for that kind of behavior by analyzing the game's code and looking for exploits in the game's code, after that, it's not that hard to translate games behaviors into code, its also not simply, but its all intentional and more a task of optimization.
It would’ve been cool if the Cramomatic also spit out the Park Ball too. Actually allow us to use it outside of Gen 4 and keep the ball

GS Ball isn't even a usable ball, and it has never had a flag for it as a "caught in" PokéBall.
@@KiraSlith You are certainly correct about that, and I had zero expectation for him to actually do so. But when there is a title as bold as to say “(Yes, Even that one)”, you’re curious if they managed it.
Fun Fact: You can actually do the Sinjoh Ruins event *twice*, though the second time involves hacking in the Azure Flute from that unreleased event and getting the Arceus from that event. HG/SS will even recognize that you've already done it once and only give you the choice of the two remaining legendaries.
It’s really weird that they accounted for this considering they abandoned the Azure Flute event, yet still kept a second Sinjoh Ruin script

I once caught a shiny Palkia in a regular poké ball in Omega Ruby. I wasn't even looking for a shiny pokémon at the time. It just appeared on the first try.

I was today years old when I realized you can actually send pokemon to a farm upstate in Legends Arceus as a substitute for the box system, making it the best game to nuzlocke.
I just use a box labelled as the HFIL (Home For Infinite Losers)
A note about the DNS trick:
If you have a modern and somewhat capable router, check if you can enable Guest Networks. What it does is create an isolated and restricted virtual network, which you can then set up so that it requires no authentication while still being able to filter conections based on a device's MAC address, so that it allows only conections from your DS/3DS.
This is very useful if you don't have a capable hotspot device and you don't want to mess around with your main network, as all settings can be enabled and disabled by a button and don't expose your private network to whoever passes nearby your house.
I'm sure it would take a ton of work, but I'd love to see a video on obtaining every evolved Pokémon at their lowest possible level. For example, trading a level 3 Raichu for Electrode in FRLG, fishing up a level 1 Gyarados in B2W2, etc.

Lots of Pokemon can be Level 1 from Go but are unobtainable because the event that put them in the wild is over like how Latios/Latias or the legendary Beasts were in the wild during the regional tours

I used to wonder about this challenge before Gen 8. I’m pretty sure prior to Galar, the only Pokémon this was possible with was Scyther or Pinsir. One of those two.

Smth about Legends not only being responsible for a good chunk of the different catches, but also being the one game that restricts Dialga and Palkia as being the only two mon catchable in every type of ball, is just oddly funny to me. Like, over two decades worth of games, and they just NOW decide to include a special type of poke ball that only one pokemon can be really caught in?

You were talking about how if you dont catch Palkia or Dialga they will respawn after defeating the elite four. Way back in the day while playing Pokemon Diamond, my game actually glitched and respawned a second Dialga after the elite four even though I already caught it. I never researched why and assumed time shenanigans because ya know... Dialga... Lol.
This video was an absolute blast!! Palkia is my FAVOURITE legendary. And seeing it caught in every single ball was an absolute treat!

Loved how you caught the first Palkia in a heal ball, in my first playthrough of Pokemon Pearl which was my first pokemon game, I was running out of pokeballs and my last pokeballs were the healballs, and I managed to catch my Palkia in a heal ball
I recently did this with magnemite (my favorite pokemon) and it was probably one of the hardest challenges I've ever done,so it was really neat seeing a youtuber do this with an extremely rare pokemon. Amazing video 👏
Palkia and Dialga are the only 2 Pokemon that can actually get into a origin ball so it's not possible to do this challenge with any other Pokemon....

1:32 im pretty sure it will not respawn if killed but only if you flee. It’s possible dialga and palkia are exceptions to the rule but generally legendaries respawning if killed was introduced in platinum

Since the event for Dialga and Palkia is going on in SV, I decided to check out how it compares to SW/SH.
For SV, from starting a fresh save, it will take just about the same amount of time to be able to do raids (52 mins speedrun to 1 hour more relaxed). It’s roughly the same amount of time needed. However, in SV you can instantly fight dialga/palkia after trading over a trained mon holding a ball, catching it much easier and *significantly* faster than from max raid dens. The special pokeballs are also somewhat easier to get, assuming you already beat the game and simply fill the pokedex.
Yup, and while when the event began there was still the Sport and Safari Ball exclusive to Galar, Indigo Disk added those back too
It may have been overkill, but I loved the section covering the crazy Gen 4 glitches. It's always so cool seeing Code Execution in older Pokemon games and all the nonsense you can do with it.

Most trainers collect all Pokémon in an array of different pokeballs. This man collects pokeballs, that have the same Pokémon caught multiple times.
So my guess WAS pretty close. Though I'm pretty sure I couldn't have possibly guessed that the Pokémon you were catching was actually Palkia
I never realized how unique Legends Arceus is by having its own unique set of Pokeballs that no other game has and none of the normal ones

Old phone is exactly how I got the DNS trick to work for me. First tried it with my router to no avail, and the my current phone, which also did not work. Then I dug through my drawers for an older phone and Micro USB charger, and that one did work, in this case the phone was Huawei Honor 8 lite, but I had older options too if that had failed me
I remember how the Pokémon you could catch in every ball (until SwSh made Safari and Sport Balls obtainable freely) used to be Scyther and Pinsir, two pretty strong bugs. Now the two Pokémon you can get in every ball are literal gods

About the DNS settings, most phones support it, but you need to set if to "Safe", which makes it so you don't need a password. (Which is a bit risky, but if anyone else connects you can probably just kick them off)

That whole park ball section was great. You could've easily just said it doesn't count because, like, cmon. But instead you went the extra mile and dismantled reality to it's very core, just to catch palkia in a park ball. This kind of effort is why these videos are special.👍

Technically you are missing the snag ball but palkia doesn't exist in XD or Colosseum, the typing ball but palkia isn't in Learn with pokemon: typing adventure, the unite ball but palkia doesn't exist in pokemon unite, and the ball used in poke transfer (at least I don't know if you did use poke transfer)

Its a shame, but Pokemon V&S are doing a Palkia/Dialga tera raid event you can use to easily use any ball in those games on a palkia. Probably wouldve made your job a tad easier

Neither Palkia nor Dialga can be caught with Snag Balls from the Gamecube Pokemon games nor Typing Balls from Learn with Pokémon: Typing Adventure. While other obscure forms of Pokeballs exist in other spinoffs or non-video game Pokemon media, these two varieties of ball are the only ones I could find which the player can use to actually catch Pokemon that aren't covered by this video. And while it is true that Snag Balls become indistinguishable from whatever manner of ball they originally were after catching a shadow Pokemon, they are treated as distinct within the fiction of the games and have different catching animations compared to their non-Snag counterparts used on wild Pokemon. Arguably, there are 12 varieties of them for each ball available in Gen 3. If that is the case, then a Pokemon like Togepi or Sudowoodo would have more varieties of ball available to it than Palkia or Dialga
