So glad to see that he is still making hokkien noodles till this day. Its literally the only thing he sells. I saw a doc about him in a series called "belly of the nation" hawker edition.
If you're tourists maybe not interested in this noodle due to the appearance. But after you see so many people queu in all Hokkien Prawn Noodle kiosks, you'll try it. My mom was so addicted after one plate, she always tell me let's eat that in every food centres, even in Orchard Rd. 😂
Wowww hard working grandpa,,,,i hope u always healty,,,,&than ur food very delicious because u cooking from hards😁😁😁😁so good for noodle granpa🤤🤤🤤 Nice to meet u granpa,,,iam @Yanti's Foodpedia,,,,,,see u on ather vlog
my all time favorite during my stint in singapore. That"s my dinner 7days a week sometimes. Every after work l wouldn't miss dropping by at the foodcourt in jurong point mrt just to have my comfort food the uncle would always put pickled green chilli and the sambal thats soooo perrfectt!! and he will wrapped it in somekind of bamboo husk or something. its soo good!! whats is heartwarming is when he see me he will always say ...ate l wait for you leh 😄😄❤️❤️.
I’ve had his HK mee for a long time, always a very long queue, if you lucky it’s a short wait cause a new batch has just been cooked up. If you arrive when the batch is sold, you’ll have to wait like 30mins for the next batch. But it’s well worth the wait. Cause it’s DE-LICIOUS 😋
Hi there. This is my very first video and I was using Huawei p30pro. I have since switch to iPhone 12 for my last few video. There are Pros and cons for the two models
Have been his customer for almost 20 years but just a note to those newbies, this shop you need to queue at least 1 hour even if you think the line is short from 5pm onwards because he will keep accepting call orders and these call orders will 'cut' your queue. Not forgetting the auntie helper taking orders got bad attitude. I was 3rd in the line queue and waited for 1 hour!
Well, it is very Sumptuous then it's worth the while. I lived so near to Tiong Bahru yet I didn't know about it. Must try next week. Which day is his off-day?
Omg Hokkien Mee is one of my favorite Malaysian dish, bc of the pork lard, and pork liver, extra liver please👍👍👍👍 But this vendor doesn’t use pork lard or pork livers👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 the noodle a bit thin , IMO, I like thicker noodle like udon noodles, and a darker soy sauce like sauce, kinda like Chinese lo mein, but in Malaysian style
Although they are both called Hokkien Mee, the Malaysian and Singaporean Hokkien Mee are totally different dish and I bet they both taste great. It is not a question of one is better than the other. It like comparing apples with oranges. You may like apple and I may like oranges or like both. Not necessarily one better than the other.
Malaysian style is a different breed of noodles. different base, different seasonings. You must be joking if think singaporean hokkien mee is all about the pork lard or livers. ITS All about the PRAWN BROTH and seafood umami. time for some education. th-cam.com/video/VtI1jReYURc/w-d-xo.html

Many sellers r old in Singapore and korea. Sad to see them 😭 .

Sadly it was closed for good.
no more ... retired
Yes.
I wonder what song he's listening to while cooking...🤣
I knew a few hawkers dancing and singing while cooking. One way to keep their backs and legs good.
uncle kan cheong, fire off still don't know. Lol
😁😂
Missing chives and pork belly. Actually most hokkien mee sellers are cutting corner nowadays. A lil sad
Will show you one of the best fried pork lard the next video. Absolutely an art! Stay tune.

You could get a bath in soup while you watch !
haha.
Don't know if he's showing off infront of the camera, he doesn't have to be that messy tossing food around resulting in a dirty-looking kitchen.
Don't be a farking a$$hole.
God:
