wood turning a hinged walnut egg

Happy Easter everyone
This is my walnut egg made using a premade hinge. I use a piece of 50x50 walnut and turn it round then I get the shape of the egg including joint. I'll leave enough on each end to hold each half. Then I saw through the joint and hollow out each half then finishing the outside. I finish with shellac and cut'n polish then part the bottom off. The top I have to Finish with a jambchuck to get the egg shape. After gluing the hinge on with epoxy I give it a polish with renaissance wax and it is finished.
