wood turning a spoon on a lathe with some carving

- This is not how the spoon carver do it! So I'm using ash for my spoon although I start to make three I only finish one. As far as i know wood to be food safe has to be a white wood ash, maple, beech, birch, basswood and walnut. Even though walnut is a dark wood.
