Well, they can't without a completely separate SoC and then be limited on the that SoC. At the end of the day, Wear OS still sucks. Tizen was and is still so much better.
Just received the 2R Gun metal gray. I read many reviews yet this one was by far the one that convinced me to get it. The hardware is superb, the onehealth application could use some updates. Thanks, Mike.
wow....on first sight i genuinely thought this is a pretty good looking analog watch. that's a pretty good display, and some neatly designed watchfaces. gotta give them that

Aluminum body is a plus, sapphire crystal is much more important for scratch resistance. Still wish it was slightly smaller for those of us with smaller wrists at 6.5". The Garmin Venu 3 @ 45 mm is really as large as I can wear. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, even though it is aslo 45 mm just looks ridiculous.
In Europe the price doesn't make sense, as it's too close to watch 2. Paid €25 more and get nord buds 2 instead watch strap bonus (both also come with extra charging block). You can easily sell the buds and get better build quality.

I absolutely 100% wish there was a rotating crown. But the swipe gestures worked well enough. You get used to it Edit: addressing the last part of your comment. I demonstrated it in my hand because it was just easier to film like that. I used it on my wrist a ton beforehand. Maybe I need to work on wrist flexibility to make on-wrist filming easier haha

Any chance you know the size lug to lug? Like vertically? And your wrist circumference? A suggestion: The first time you show the watch on your wrist in the review (or at another point), it would be great to have the size specs along with it. Specifically the size of your wrist, lug to lug size, etc. I say this because it's a very common question online. People are unsure and really the only way to know how it fits, is to go try it on. The watch classic 6 looks more like a traditional watch. I use my watch 5 pro for any workouts and long weekends(larger battey), and the classic for everyday use.
One thing i'd love to know is how this (and the Galaxy watch 7) integrate with Google fit. I bought the Xiaomi watch S1 but returned it since there was no proper way to make the sync work. Thanks for the vids! (And would love to see how the Watch 7 stacks up against the Oneplus Watch 2 and Watch 2R)
I just got watch 2 (which from software point of view very similar to this), and the google fit integration (you have to sync via health connect) works okay-ish. It sync workout and sleep rather well. There's a drawback for step count sync though. When it sync, the timestamp is always set to 23:59. As result, fit app will show 0 steps (assuming you are not using fit on your phone or other devices for activity tracking) 99.99% time of the day, until 23:59. Furthermore, the step count would be divided evenly throughout the day (example: if you walk 12000 steps on that day, it will be shown as 500 steps for each hour) so you couldn't see in detail when is your most active hour (you can still see it on ohealth app though). It's not a big deal for me, but other might find it troublesome. One possible option that I haven't tried yet is to install fit on the watch, so the fit (on the watch) would feed the data to fit on your phone. It potentially reduce battery life (can't say how bad it would be) because additional app is running in the background.

Well, 32 gb is pretty much standard for every smartwatch. Let's say about 13 gb is used for system, you still have roughly 17-18 gb left, which is a lot for a smartwatch, since you don't need big file in your smartwatch (you can't watch movie in your smartwatch after all). The 1-24 hour bezel is for GMT. When using the GMT watch face, the fourth hand tracks a second time zone, and points to the outer 1-24 hour bezel. I asked OnePlus and this fourth hand isn't manually adjustable, it's simply automatic when you travel to another time zone.
My brother in law bought the Xiaomi watch 2 pro... I have the Oneplus watch 2.... He's always crying because has to charge it 2 days or in a day and half.... That battery is terrible 😂 meanwhile I only charge it every 4-5 days depending on the usage.... And also is fast charging and also have shaphire glass, love it totally worth it the extra money for that build resistance.
I think it's a matter of preference. I find watch 2 has more character to it with the asymmetric design, but I think it's more polarizing than the quite conventional design of 2r. Also, I used to have ticwatch pro 3 (my previous smartwatch), whose design is very similar to 2r so the design is so boring for me.
I don't know why they opted for that bezel. So many watch faces from third parties won't look good because of that one design decision. I hate manufacturers who do that.
The size is just a big no-no. Why do companies insist on making a 45mm+ watches. It's uncomfortable for most people. Samsung is the only company making a decent 40mm. If they made a 41.5mm size it would be a one size fits all.
Ticwatch software support is terrible. I used Ticwatch pro 3 and the update to 3.5 has been horrible. Recently google wallet was failing because the smartwatch does not pass safety requirement. Pro 5 (even the newest Enduro variant) also still stuck with wearOS 3.5 and have no google assistant integrated, which is unacceptable for a smartwatch released few months ago (in Enduro's case) with premium asking price. The only advantage it offers as far as I see is only rotating crown, which for me is not essential at all. I would pick oneplus 2 any days
As soon as I decided to go full Apple forever that’s when oneplus started to make a real ecosystem, honestly worst timing, now I’ve gone Apple and won’t be going back anytime soon

Afaik no wearOS watches compatible with iOS, so no.
Hi i wanna know if it is samsung health compatible
Please make a comparison with amazfit balance
Looks so much like galaxy watch6 classic
Hey! How about one watch 2 vs ticwatch pro 5? I think are 2 of the most large batery right now in weor os
9:11 can you use the google wear app instead of the one plus app?
Good competitive price. But with the samsung trade in, I'm paying 239 for the Watch ultra 7, after trading my Watch 5 pro.
I'm happy to see Samsung trade-ins were pretty decent this year
@@MikeOBrienMedia $350 for my 2 year old watch is amazing.
As soon as I decided to go full Apple forever that’s when oneplus started to make a real ecosystem, honestly worst timing, now I’ve gone Apple and won’t be going back anytime soon
How does this compare to Huawei Watch GT4?
I recently got a Garmin Venu 3 but I'm missing some of the Wear OS features...I wonder if I should've pulled the trigger on this instead.
garmins are only for those who choose to be more active and focussed on their PRs
which isn't many
the most they did for general public is the venu series.
@@LGTVQHD Yeah and the extra health features are great, but I did use quite a lot of the "smart" features on my old Galaxy Watch
Well said. I personally love Garmin devices mainly because I like training and working out. You certainly miss out on Google assistant, etc
I wish it was for iso toooo
It's also shaphire glass on Oneplus watch 2...
This is NOT sapphire glass... It's "2d glass" as opposed to the watch 2

I couldn't stand the watch 2. Bezels were too big. I also missed the hourly vibration.
