    I guess I have to say this again. No, the pixel watch isn't the one where you get all the features for free compared to galaxy watch. Samsung blocks some specific features for non-samsung users, but the pixel watch is even worse because it keeps way more features behind a paid subscription to fitbit. I usually really like your content, but this claim absolutely drives me up the wall.

I listened to music for 10 hour's the first day from it to my earbuds and it still lasted until the next night. I bought the same few months ago at around 200 USD, coming from a Garmin Fenix 6s Pro, I was very happy even with battery life, 2 and half days with AOD activated as I do not like to see black screens. The other day suddenly the display started flickering and becoming white, what a disappointment, service center asking 150 USD to change the display, let's see if the insurance from vendor will cover it, sorry, no Galaxy watch anymore.

The fit three is my daily user ever since you made that video on it I purchased one and I haven't looked back or missed my five pro or my six classic. In my opinion, the Huawei Watch GT4 is the best smartwatch I have owned and it's my current watch. I have gone through about 10 different smartwatches in the past year (yes, I know I have a problem lol) and the Huawei GT4 Pro is the only one that has ticked most of the boxes (for my personal use) and that 14 day battery life is the icing on the cake. I respect Mike's opinion and I understand that smartwatches are something very personal as we all look for something different in a smartwatch, but talking about the best smartwatches in the market at the moment and not mentioning Huawei is like talking about the most reliable cars and not mentioning Honda or Toyota.

    My Garmin Venu SQ 2 is the perfect. For me. Because it's mine and it's brilliant. Clean design, clean menu, tons of functions, 7+ days of battery life with 24h health tracking. And the great ecosystem of Garmin. :)
    My ex had a Galaxy Watch 5 with laughable 1-1,5 days of battery life, terrible GPS (which lost signal and stopped tracking in the middle of nowhere), etc. It was a joke compared to my Garmin, even she realized that after a few weeks. Oh, great internet help me out. I'm looking for a smartwatch that has:
    -accurate fitness tracking (not like Forerunner 965,but quite accurate)
    -2-3 days of battery
    -somewhat mediocre size (not too small/light, not too bulky) [so no fitness band nor G-shocks]
    -could be an everyday carry or (with strap switch) a *dressier* watch
    I have a Samsung s21 fe 5g and Galaxy Buds FE+

      If you want an accurate fitness tracking I for sure wouldn't go with the galaxy, the gps is not accurate and its hr also not the best, you could check for Quantified scientist to check the best Hearth Rate watches. Of course it depends on your budget, but I would get a garmin venu 3, a 265 because it has music and nfc, if you want a band you could get a fitbit charge 6 or even the fitbit . Or if you want a "smarter" watch I would pick the pixel 2. The advantage with garmin is that you get longer battery life and more stats for running.

      I agree with Mike's assesments. Fitness & battery life all week long (pun intended) - Venu 3. Full on smartwatch - GW6C.
      The question you need to answer is this: how much of a smartwatch do you want/need?
      More apps, more features, shorter battery life (all that stuff consumers significant amounts of power): GW6C
      More pared down, more only what you need and nothing you don't: Venu 3
      For me I found the GW5 series (tried them all), would activate apps when I didn't want them which is very distracting. For example when I would expect driving directions from your phone and it comes from the watch. I didn't really end up using many of the features or apps at all. That's my experience, finding that at some point I simply wanted the phone to do the job and the watch actually interfering. Yes, fixable in settings, but really?
      Venu 3 has slightly smaller watches (41 & 45 mm) with the GW6C being larger (43 & 47 mm). For refernce, I get away with the 45 mm Venu 3 on a 6.5" circumfernce wrist, but the 47 mm GW6C would be too large.
      Both can use standard watch bands, so bonus points there. Both look good as daily users and for casual occasions, but neither will look as classy as a full on classic watch, which is where the Withings Nova hybrid Mike talks about comes in.
      If you want a much more in depth discussion of these watches in a fitness setting, key phrase, I'd check out both DesFit and DCRainmaker who make exemplary and complimentary fitness device videos to the point where they both work together often. They talk about running, biking, weight lifting, and swimming to name a few activities and have great insight as to what works best and in which circumstances.

    One funny thing - I was playing with a dog some weeks back. I would pick up a ball and throw it, and the dog would take off, get it and bring it back. At one point the watch started buzzing - I was curious what it was all about - there was a thing on the screen that said "Did you fall?", or "Do you need help?" - can't remember which. I select "No" - it then had a menu with things like "Yes, I fell, but I got back up", "I didn't fall", and something else - I guess to summon help.

    I bought a really nice-looking watch last year. It was the first time I'd worn a watch since I was a kid. But it was too large for my wrist, made me look like a target for thieves, so big that it made my arm look small, like I was trying too hard to wear it. It also was supposed to keep itself charged through kinetics, but I constantly had to manually fix the hands. Finally, not a month after owning the watch, one day I was in a rush, getting into a taxi at the airport, and the watch snagged onto the seatbelt and sling-shotted into the tarmac, smashing the display all to pieces and sending dirt and its guts throughout the mechanism. I haven't bought another watch since. I can't imagine buying a smartwatch only for that to happen.

    • @KnigthMare69
      @KnigthMare69 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You said it yourself, it was too large. You can’t have a small wrist and expect an invictus watch to look good. I have a small wrist, speaking of cheap-ish watches, a seiko or an orient 3 star are the type of watches that look good. I bought a smartwatch recently because I’m more invested in running, cycling and other stuff, a garmin forerunner 165 or 265 are great options, I’d say that the 965 starts to get a bit too big. Also, you may not need all its functionalities. On the other hand, I’d never get a garmin tactix 7 pro ballistics, or any g-shock whatsoever, even working with law enforcement. It wouldn’t fit my wrist and looks clunky

      @rotiwokeman 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KnigthMare69 Yup I need something durable for small wrists that doesn't make me a moving target for robbers. Functionality, well, can tell the time and date and track my steps. But I'd rather also have something that I can connect to Google Assistant and other voice command apps. Ultimately I want something that can at least introduce a workaround for interacting with tools like ChatGPT and Claude because I use that stuff a lot more than nearly everyone else I know. The ideal one would be good at tracking sleep data, too.

    I want a smart watch that will really improve life, set the temp in the shower, unlock my car and set the radio and seat position so I do not have to drag out that brick of a key fob. Report my Libre blood glucose without 10 different work arounds. Unlock my house, set the ac temp in my car, remind me the dog is outside, go into alarm if I get near someone I have listed as Avoid like the plague, when leaving the house, check weather, remind me to take coat umbrella or Ark depending on rain amount, or to take sunglasses if sunny.

    I personally wear a Galaxy Watch6, not the classic as I don't care for the rotating bezel. I love my watch, its battery life could be better but I charge it while I work after I wake up and it charges up really quickly. It's also one of the few watches I find comfortable enough to sleep with, I don't have large wrists so the slimmer design is perfect for me.

    I would like to share my experience with the Amazfit GTR 3. I purchased the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro in January 2022. I liked the design of the watch and the battery life. In July 2023, I sent it in for a warranty claim, because the touchscreen stopped working and the watch could not be operated. The claim was accepted, the fault was unrepairable and was resolved by replacing it with a new piece.
    Unfortunately in August 2024 even with this new watch there was a defect, the watch would always switch to the switch off/restart screen and then switch off. Now the watch cannot be used.
    The first watch lasted functional for 18 months. The second one only worked for 13 months and this one, even though it was new, could no longer be claimed.
    Amazfit's statement on the repair of the Amazfit GTR 3 watch was that due to the waterproof design and design of the watch, it could not be repaired or would not be cost effective.
    At least I gained experience, next time just don't accept the replacement but straight out withdraw from the contract and buy it again, at least one gets the warranty again, which may not be a bad thing with this watch.
    I was satisfied with the watch, but I admit that it could have worked longer.

      I had too a bad experience with Amazfit reliability since the PACE came out in 2017, two months and battery heating up and then dropping quickly, service changed with new one, after 3 months same issue that was probably due to water entering the watch. Had very good experience with Huawei (my GT and my wife Fit) very good conditions after more than 3 years and with Garmin Fenix 6s Pro, I will avoid Amazfit in the future.

    Personally, for a hybrid smartwatch. The Tissot T touch is a way more elegant than the hybrid watch you're talking about. It also has way more options on how you want to customize the watch to your preference with different styles. Tag also has some nice smartwatches. If you're going to say the best. You need to incorporate all the brands. At the end of the day, you only try to push what you think is best and never look at the other companies like Tag or Tissot. There are a few more but those are examples. Your review is no different than the other 100 people that do reviews.Let face it. Your review is bias just like everyone else.
