Apple watch for iphone. The best watch ever. Samsung watch for Samsung phones. Still searching for a decent watch for non-Samsung Android phones. Thank you for the review! Gonna buy this one or OnePlus watch 2.
@@dolanddrumpf6344 so when you get a message and you lift up your watch, do you see the change from processor to switch display? Saw it was like one second ish
Hi Mark, I orded the OnePlus Watch 2r Gunmetal Gray global variant today for €165 Euro's it will be deliver between 23 and 28 of september 2024. BTW : I already have the Honor Watch GS 3 now black global variant, but I will sell it. Good luck with your channel. Glenn
Hello, brother... Does this watch support Strava Health App, without using O- Health App...? And what health App do you recommend? that is NOT glitchy. THANKS YOU!!!!!!
I have to say your review for the OnePlus Watch 2R is one of the best and unbias ones I've seen so far and I want to commend you for that. As a Android/Linux fanboy myself. And with Android entering the smartwatch market first....The Apple Watch is a masterpiece. And I still feel it's a shame it took Samsung, Motorola, Google and other makers to come try and play catch up to something they started. I'm not afraid to admit, although I can't use it as a Google Pixel Pro owner, I have an Apple Watch to admire. I needed a watch that was good, and wasn't a Google Pixel as I feel....it's still not what I want it to be. OnePlus stepped in, and gave me the 2R, yea the OnePlus Watch 2 is pretty much the same aside from aesthetics. But it's not attractive, the 2R is attractive and with a case and different band options (which I have) I'm liking this more than my Pixel Watch Series 1, and this is bigger without having to get the new Pixel Watch 3, and pay more. 47mm vs 45mm I'm happy with the watch 2r and I enjoyed your review.
If I didn't have the watch 6 classic 47mm,I would buy this oneplus watch and wait till February,March time and buy the oneplus open 2.i hope that answers your question😊
I cannot possibly stress enough just how amazing the OnePlus 12 is for a phone. Hands down the best phone I've ever owned, and it has the exact same specs as the Galaxy 24 ultra, but for significantly less money. In fact it actually has more storage and more RAM then that phone. Amazing screen, incredible battery life, charges from 0 to 100 in about 30 minutes flat, and it even has faster wireless charging than the wired charging on Samsung and Apple phones. I simply cannot recommend this phone enough, it has been flawless for me over the last 6 months. The only thing you're really missing are AI features, but OnePlus says they will be bringing them to the phone eventually, and honestly I couldn't care less about those because everything else about the phone is PERFECT
I have the Watch 2 and it just performs wonderfully. And my OnePlus 12 is on the way this week, which also came with the 2R Watch for free, a deal that's still ongoing as of today (Oct 2nd, 2024) so I'm sending the 2R watch to my brother since I already have the stainless steel one. 2R is aluminum. Watch 2 is steel.
When you said that when you woke up the next morning it was still at 62% battery, did you take it off overnight? Or did you wear it while you slept? Every time I hear viewers talk about how long watch batteries last, I feel like they never specify that. I might be different, but I just prefer not to wear mine to sleep, but I know lots of people like to use it for sleep tracking and wonder how much of a difference that makes!
@@darpinian1 have you seen all the health and wellness features other manufacturers are now offering on their platforms? In 2024 it's not really enough to just be like hey we have a piece of hardware that will let you run WearOS all day finally. What is it that Wear OS let's you do that other platforms don't?
@@Tekz12 So you're the target customer. If what you're after is wellness and health features at the forefront then you're wanting a Polar or Garmin watch. For the average user, they may lift weights or go for a jog every now and again... WearOS is great for this. They want connectivity to use tap to pay, Google maps, access to Hey Google and their smart home as well as total access to their phones... But from their wrist. That is the point of this or any WearOS watch. The Chinese companies have been using proprietary OS for a while... This is an important watch because it's a Chinese watch that anyone can use. You just don't happen to be the target customer... And that's fine.
What's your smartwatch of choice (and why)?

What a pleasant voice and tempo!
I’m watching this review after purchasing the watch😛
Is there a delay when you want to watch the notification? Saw something about the processor change that needs to kick in
Apparently they fixed the delay. I'll let you know once I receive mine tomorrow.
It's fixed

Hopefully you will be one of the first on YT to get access to the very soon to be released Garmin Fenix 8.
Currently using a Whoop band, only gripe is that it doesn't count your steps. But I'm used to not having that feature.
Can someone tell me how to load music files onto the memory? I can't find a way.
Great review
Could you make a comparison between
Galaxy watch 6 classic & OnePlus watch 2?
So if I have an iPhone, can I connect it in such way to see my notifications on the watch, and also still track my fittness on my phone?

A comparison, especially re battery life, with a Huawei watch would have been interesting.

The user experience of Samsung watches is very unsatisfactory.

The small print on the OnePlus site says this device is not suitable for hot water showers. Has anyone ignored this without any issues?
If I am an iPhone user looking for an alternative, how viable is the One Plus for me?
Very.
So no rotating bezel and no rotating crown either.
I prefer a rotating crown.
Nice looking watch though.
Is it possible to change the bezel?
Nope.
sadly it has no Esim :(
Great content!!
Thanks!

As I'm pretty sure I mentioned in the review, it was used for sleep tracking, so of course it was on my wrist overnight.
@@MarkEllisReviews Gotcha! Sorry, I must’ve missed that when listening the first time 🤦♂️ but thanks for clarifying, and another fantastic review! 💪
“Tech reviews for normal people” 😂😂😂 love that
I got 6 days out of it on one charge
Thanks. The 2 ignored rotations of its crown. What's that like on the 2R?
He says in the video..
Re-watched: the 2R doesn't have a crown.
0:25 for those who dont know, that watch costs over 3000 dollars
Wdym????
Nice watch not available in Australia though
Can find it on Kogan
What’s happened to the Vlogs? It’s all gone quiet since u stopped doing the editing yourself!
Where this watch falls flat is the supporting software. It's barebones.
It's wearOS. What is it you're trying to do that you can't do?
