    At about the 6:30 mark you mention to make your own list regarding damages that were there before you moved in. What makes my list viable to the land lord? If they were to take my security deposit, what’s stopping them from disregarding my list as me trying not to pay for the so called damage that I did?
    Other than that, this video was amazing. Super straight forward and easy to follow.

    If all you have is a vehicle that is worth only $1800 in household goods like TV furniture appliances that you have filed and designated for exempt are these anything. That creditors usually take from you to settle a debt thank you. October 24, 2023 is the date of this comment.

      th-cam.com/video/zkDiCpF1rws/w-d-xo.html Those items sound as if all would be considered exempt from creditors under state law

    I want to lease an apartment and the landlord wants to check my credit score so he sent me a link to the website.
    Should I do it? Is it not a scam?

      Hi Lesian that depends on what the link is to determine if that is a scam. You can get a copy of your credit report from various places. It is up to you whether you give someone else permission to check it or if you provide it or if you agree to this at all. Many landlords ask for credit reports or the permission to pull one themselves to see if the proposed tenant pays his/her bills on time.

    They want me to pay first to reserve it ?? I don't think is right

    • @FinelyRevealed
      @FinelyRevealed  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would not normally be required - but if for some reason you do pay first make sure you have a receipt and an easy way to recover the money if the deal falls through.

    So the apartment my husband and I are supposed to move into in a few months says that I didn't sign the lease, but I did. I don't like the apartment and I'm looking for a house. Is there a way the management could cancel our lease?

    • @FinelyRevealed
      @FinelyRevealed  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Before you move in you can ask to rescind- both sides agree to cancel it. search rescind or rescission in our search bar- we have a video on that.

    Definitely a lovely, naturally and attractive looking lady, and intelligently and easily to understand. Very informative and appreciate it, after renting in an apartment for three years as a secondary roommate, I though in one way, but liable for all while signed in on the lease agreement I'm having two research and learn more about a lease contract to understand it better. The rent has gone $242 up and apparently the only way to negotiate is to vacate the premises or except the term of overly high rental fee.
    My 12 month lease has now expired and I've yet to sign the next yearsleys I've got a few more weeks to make up my mind. Looks like the better way out is too long way out my signing another 12 months, planning and prepare myself to properly give notice and vacate towards the end of the lease agreement in the next year. Any comments or advice would be appreciated. Thank you for the Post.

      Thank you for the kind words @Juan. On the lease issue that document should state what happens if you 'hold over' meaning you stay in the space after the lease term without signing a new one. Make sure you read that and time your notices (to either renew or vacate) accordingly. There is no harm in trying to negotiate with them- if you have been paying timely, no complaints from other neighbors, no excess maintenance of your space and you like living there and can afford it- then perhaps you can negotiate a longer term and thereby give them assurance the space will be filled but have the rent go up more gradually than they now propose. Just an idea. Good luck!
