Sometimes I miss working at a call center for a utility company. Sometimes you would get a caller with a soft voice that just triggers the brain. It was so nice.
This is my kind of ASMR. The kind that takes you back as a kid when you first experienced it at school in the library, or a talk show interview on old cable tv, or when a friend whispered something in your ear, or a teacher with a really soft voice and you just knew that it was super enjoyable, relaxing, and made you sleepy and you wondered if everybody else did this too.
I can't agree more with you! I remember tingling sensations from stuff like this video. For me, Bob Ross in the 90s during elementary years, was my main source for ASMR without knowing it!
100%. I would turn the tv on to some random channel that had a good voice talking. I’d close my eyes and flip through channels. I’d get sleepy if a teacher in school had a good voice.
Holy Lord, how did this align with the ASMR craze. I’m knocked out cold within 10 minutes into any segment of this interview. Its better than taking Ambien.
So casually went to grad school, the school must have been so thrilled to have her that they forgave the tuition and even paid her to be there. Some people are privileged, she must be one of them.
Many people are privileged to have the attitude and learning ability that makes them good at school. It is a win-win proposition for educational institutions to compete for thes students.
The part where her male colleagues were discussing her having kids was cringy. These men weren't impressed. They weren't complimenting her. They were gaslighting her.
Why do you need female and minority faculty members? Shouldn't your faculty be the most qualified to do the job regardless of race or sex? This is the reason we are failing as a nation.
@@rustymcgee14455 I think what tickles me most about this comment is you believing that you’re somehow bringing up a point that hasn’t been dissected and discussed in academia, and believing that you are more qualified than all of the people making decisions because you know exactly what is wrong with this country. I look forward to you opening your own university and I expect utmost perfection
I can't imagine anyone genuinely happy with himself and his own life spending so much time trolling videos of likeable MIT professors. Just go be happy with yourself, my dude.
Hmmm....Urban Mobility - so if you listen to what she is saying, it's really a human conditioning and behavioral science project. The real question is - Is it even necessary ?
The combination of drugs may work better for some people but not others because ???? The make up of all human beings is different. None of us are exactly the same
I read her Wiki page... a whole lotta nothin' there... "MIT" "First Female to hold position of Chancellor of MIT". Why she was made "Chancellor" who knows? Try and find out why she's so special or competent or what specific achievement(s) that warrant "MIT" exulting? don't know... any academic citations other than "MIT", like Marvin Minksy or other professor/scientists that teach there? No... like nothing at all... so, like, what's the big deal other than she's a woman living and working in a man's world working her way up the corporate ladder? Break it down for me "MIT"

This is definitely unintentional ASMR.. gotta save this
Damn, what a great mind! Long life Cynthia!!!
Hee voice is sweet and so is her smile but she is an intellectual powerhouse and I love that combination!
we sound the same!
Her voice is soothing for ASMR
Such a clever woman. Engineers are the unsung hero’s of humanity 🙌
She is amazing
Super relaxing watching Cynthia speak. An interesting topic delivered with an amazing ASMR voice and infectious smile.
This woman has a very longstanding relationship with MIT students. I’m surprised there aren’t any alumni discussing her influence here.
This is pure asmr gold.
Her voice is amazing and the fact that she is an intellectual is even more attractive !
Very interesting lady. Thank you.
I like to listen to advice then make my own decision. Cynthia is a Libra!
Really dude?
She'd probably roll her eyes (at least in her head) to read this comment.
@@Silence-and-Violence Huh. Let’s not squabble here especially. Classic video.
Problem: whether she's conducting training or running staff meetings, people immediately fall asleep.

I predict we will be flying around in fart powered space suits by the year 2188
I wonder how she would answer the question,” what is a fog horn for?”
The canteen in mit must be a pretty chill place
I was also born at west point NY!
If she only knew about the future 😮

Surely it doesn't go as far back as Oxbridge what next the wold trade center? The US ego strikes again 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As interesting as I find this, most of it doesnt apply to the poor regions of the world, such as Africa.

Good thing MIT has you to worry about whether or not it has qualified faculty.
You literally just stole my comment, ha ha. Yeah, this is a shining example of how meritocracy got strangled 😅
