- This monster is a lot less painful that I thought it would be. Probably my favorite iteration of Silver Rathalos by far.
I'm still farming gear and stuff, so the setup isn't optimal.

@@blackknightofmarma1892 dude hes in the top 5 speed runners easily. The only one able to beat him a few times is po chi when we talk about using the same weapons. Po chi has a lot of respect to zebra aswell. Zebra is king of positioning and no one cant take it away. Even in mhgu he has WR almost everywhere. I rly wonder who else can do better with glaive.

Ah Partbreaker no wonder Silverlos' head broke faster than my sanity nice run definitely learned a few openings and hope to improve my time as a casual player though i'm sure Silverlos is gonna hit me with the poison and flames alot more frequently

that should have you set for iceborne

Either you have some evasive skills equipped that you didn't show, or you're a dodging god
Is raw damage and affinity increase from challenger charm stronger than having maxed out water boost in this case?
Honestly I’m surprised u didn’t use any damaging dust affects... blast and poison is extra damage
Its a playstyle. He is animation canceling with the kinsect instead of rolling for animation cancels. If you do this you cant use dust effects. In a speedrun i imagine you dont want to use them anyway because its a huge visual distraction with all of the particle effects and explosions not letting you see what the monster is doing. This playstyle also lets him collect only the essences he wants, and when he wants them.

That's how Clutch must be used on a fight...not stamping te monster always in the walls, that's not Monster Hunter, that's Monster easy for me... Congrats Zeb by the way ^^
What is that "Spirit and Strength Boost" kinsect effect?
Ordinarily if you buffed the kinsect with slinger ammo it would either buff it's stamina if you used natural ammo like rocks or it's attack if you used monster dropped ammo. But that effect makes it so slinger ammo you can use to buff gives both.
Just here for telling you that since I called one set insecto glaivo I always read that instead of insect glaive solo

GJ zebracuck, a silver rathian for a silver rank adventurer such as yourself. A solid performance. The only thing holding you back from becoming a gold rank adventurer and hunting gold rathians like me is the fact that you're not using the environment to your advantage. The arena is laid with dozens of traps you can use to debilitate monsters. Dropping boulders and using cannons might be difficult, but very rewarding if you can pull it off. And did you know about the dragonator? Come read my guide on monster hunter arena, and once you're reading let's aim for the next level of hunts together and take down a platinum rathian, as platinum rank adventurers.

Why didn’t he get the stamina extract (Orange one)?
For speedruns orange one is not major, if i remember correctly it rises your endurance, white rises speed and red attack and gives you new combos, they are just much more important for speedrun
Gathering extracts doesn't refresh the buffs if you have all 3 of them, so having only 2 buffs active instead of 3 means you don't have to spend time gathering extracts as often, which indirectly results in more time to attack the monster. And the orange buff is basically useless in speedruns compared to white and red.
@@daiyaga7675 all 3 buffs would give another extra 5% attack increase, so it's not that useless. But you are right, 5% more attack but have to gather extract often is not worth doing.
@@nam18x on top of that i thought you could transition through combos a bit faster? If you have 3 kinsect buff you shine red when you transition to another attack.

😂😂 it's the exact opposite the runner is just good at tripping him
He does still fly a lot, but unlike regular and azure a lot of his flying moves give ypu opportunities to hit him and down him, so he's indeed better than them in those regards.

@@bv9498 ye still feels cheesy to just be able to fly to the monster whenever there's an opening that's why I just think a slight cd will be nice. At least u can't use it again instantly if u mess up
@@xerxeswong1 It's really not recommended to spam it though, It hurts when the monster throw you off and the clutch claw uses a lot of stamina so when you are thrown off it can be dangerous.
I will say though, I do find it a bit strong because you can do A LOT of stuff with it but I don't think it strong enough to deserves a CD
@@xerxeswong1 you can see this guy use it that much because he beat the sht out of the monster, make it flinch, and take perfect opportunities between combos, try it yourself and you'll get rekt
