Combining that with evasion mantle stacking multiple times, you’ll expect to high around that much with monsters with at 50 or high hzv. Could probably high even more if the head was wounded.
Literally anyone who says bows got nerfed in iceborne 100% need to just stop playing bow,all you people do is waste a party slot with your crap dp builds.

If you actually knew what the nerfs did, you’d know that this has nothing to do with bow and everything to do with how absurd silver los true crit element is
To make people play elemental weapons, S. Rathalos set was introduced as it further boost crit ele damage, made the nerf on bow mv/ele modifiers not really much of an impact on bow overall damage due to how much ele crit dmg s.rathalos set scales for weapons that take XL ele mods. With bows being able to scale even higher ele values due to level 6 ele unlocked + weapon augs, it really puts bow even higher in tier list.
I mean it was nerfed. Mostly in preparation of the elemental buffs Iceborne was introducing. Dual Blades, Insect Glaive and Lance received a similar nerf.

Velkhana never got any ice armor at all. He attacked maybe twice. Headlock strategy even more powerful now with endgame sets.
