- This might be the most requested video ever... A long time ago we made a lanyard with a paracord bracelet mixed into it for comfortable chopping. All these years we said we couldn't make a video about it... well they were lies because we did it! Here is a step by step tutoral on how to make the DBK lanyard!

I like this kind of video. It doesn't always have to be a new knife, or a written skit, you guys make teaching a simple trick funny, so don't be afraid to make more like this in the future. Instructional videos may not bring in as many views BUT they will bring in MULTIPLE views as people watch again and again to learn the trick, like I am about to.
AND BOOM I have done it. Nice, works good. Also, my Mora garberg in a leather sheath on my belt, next to my multi-tool in a leather pouch, has always looked like a gun and magazine, and people don't like that.. but now, the knife has a Paracord bracelet dangling on the outside of it so it looks much more like a knife now. Added bonus.

No way I was making it through without laughing lol. Awesome video and I'm actually contemplating getting lanyard for my knives. I never knew that it offers good leverage when chopping or possibly even cutting! Well done fellas!
Hahaha! I had to figure this out on my own! It took me so long! I made mine bigger and can twist to size.

In my opinion a simple paracord lanyard loop do the job very well, no fancy paracord weaves are necessary.
Man the enthusiasm was through the roof. Mikkey might want to look into teaching.... not! Lol. The only time he got excited was when he made that bulge in the paracord

The trouble with loop type lanyards is that the the Bush they hook on stuff and pull your knife out seen it mutiple times so there in new Zealand we have a single lanyard with small knot on end works great and doesn't pull knife out of sheath

I'm three years late to comment but if you make the strap a little too long then just put your hand in the wrong way then give it a twist and it'll take up around 1/2" slack. That's 1.27 cm for those that use an inferior measuring system.

It is a nice added safety feature. The turbo chop is bonus. I would like to see you bushcraftboys set your wood on SOLID base for chopping. So much energy is wasted when the "loose wood" is bouncing around in mid air.... Do you see?

Already tried it some six months ago and it had to go because it was so annoying for everthing else than choping.
