    Mary I have had great success using your method of proving in the oven with pilot light on. So so good and I cleaned my bedrooms while the bread was rising and the time went so fast. Have made bread over many years but your method has me hooked. No more changes in this house the bread was superb. You are my best teacher and I am not a spring 🐓. I watch your blogs over and over and my 90 yr old husband always wants to know what has Mary taught you today. XXOO

    Mary I decided to give this a try but I adapted the no knead recipe. So it worked beautifully! I am so happy right now my smile obscured everything around me. I'll share what I did, don't shake your head in exasperation! Since the "No Knead bread is a similar recipe I decided to go with what you have taught me so far.
    I basically doubled the yeast to 2 Tbsp and removed a 1/4 cup of water, to make it 2.75 cups of water to six cups of 50/50 who's wheat and unbleached white.
    Instead of adding soft butter I added it as liquid with a pastry brush as I kneaded it. I used Instant Yeast so it Rose in around 55 minutes. Then I took it, firmed it into a ball and cut it in half, then followed the rest of your process. It turned out beautifully! The flavor is far better than no knead bread, more "Nutty," and the crust texture....well my wife won't eat crust on store bought bread but she loves the crust on both of your breads. Mary I can't thank you enough! Love to you from 🇨🇦🇨🇦

    Thank you Mary so much for the great video and recipe, it is the best so far. We recently bought various grains (10 and 25 kg bags)… I could not wait to try a whole wheat grain bread made with our home milled Red Fife wheat flour. I went all the way! Only Red Fife flour! Bot oh boy! It’s to die for! ❤️❤️❤️ The bread is so good and so tender, and so nutritious. I added 1 tbsp of gluten flour and 3-4 tbsp of okara in powder… so so great taste. Thank you again! I also made your recipe of hamburger buns with the sane flour, same great taste. This is our favorite bread so far, will keep making it forever! 🥰🥰🥰

As soon as I put it in the oven it deflated a bit. Overall it’s baked well. Looks good. Let’s see after I slice it once cooled completely. Thanks. I love your videos, and made my first Artisan bread with your recipe. I would like to try this bread recipe, but if I use a stand mixer do I follow recipe ingredients the same? I also would like to see a cinnamon roll recipe. Your videos are easy to follow. Thank you ❤️

    Hello Mary, I had commented a couple of days ago to let you know I made your sandwich two loaf bread and it turned out just beautiful! But now I have another question, when I was a teenager (to many years ago) my girlfriends Grandmother would make white bread that had orange zest baked in the dough and I'm assuming maybe some orange juice to (not sure about the juice) I was wondering if I could add the zest and maybe a little juice to the recipe without consequences???? What do you think? Your bread reminded me of that bread minus the orange...…..YUM!!!

    Good evening dear Mary. I've been watching the two videos about how to make bread and No Knead Sandwich Bread - Sorry, but I'd like to know how much oil I would need instead of butter.
    Thanks in advance.Have a blessing weekend

    Hey Mary, quick question...why not add the melted butter....you just answered it. Hahaha! I like the idea of the olive oil to grease the dough ball. And the moist dish towel...I didn’t know that piece. Hmmm. Nicely buttered pan. Oiled and greased dough ball. Okay...so this recipe only makes one loaf of bread. I love this. Thank you so much sharing this with us. One more question...did you butter this one? I’ve buttered mine both times Ivevtried it but ai worry about it molding before we can use it up. I’ll just make one loaf next time.

    Ms Mary I Just LOVE you and all that you share with us . . . Please tell me however ~ I live at ocean level and my dough always comes out wet no matter how accurately I measure the ingredients. I’ve gone to measuring everything on a scale using grams to make sure I’m following everything that I see on your page. What am I doing wrong ?

    Hello Mary, I have just watched you on the TH-cam Influence Challenge and I loved the session. I love you and I love your "kitchen/studio" :) I have just subscribed your channel since you are an inspiration! My challenge will be to understand all the ingredients/accessories since I'm not English native and food/kitchen items is not one of my specialty fields. You rock! Huge hug.

    I am making in my bread machine. I set it to a 1 1/2 lb. loaf setting with light crust. I hope I did it right.😊

      Epic fail in the bread machine. Top fell in and the bottom of the bread was damp. The crust edge was good though. I was confused about the milk and water measurements. I added both measurements. Is that where I went wrong?

    Hi Mary and thank you for the video. When we put the dough in the loaf pan shall we let it rise 45 min as per video or directly put it in the oven as per the written instructions? Thank you.

    • @MarysNest
      @MarysNest  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for catching that!! I have fixed the written recipe. You want to let the bread rise in the pan for about 45 minutes before you place it in the oven. Keep me posted.
