      I get asked all the time how to do it, so I'm showing it. Thanks for watching

    Nicely done on this install video! I'm a big fan of ditch lights and use mine all the time.

    Wiring question. When I ran my SP9100 controller, it only had positive outputs. I could run the positive wire from the light to the control box and ground the negative wire from the light on the frame close to where the light was mounted. This negated me having to run pos AND neg wires to the box....only the positive. This box has negative connections for each switch as well. Do I need to run the negative wire to the box or can I just ground it on the frame somewhere? Since ground is ground....should it matter where it's grounded? Only asking because when running items say, from the rear bumper, it's easier only having to route single wires vs multiples.

    Is it possible to use the same switch box you cut off the harness? My switch has 6 modes with 1 button.

      I'm not completely sure what you mean, but feel free to email me a link to the lights you want to hook up with a little more information and I will respond back.

    This is a question I cant seemed to get answered. Is there an preformance advantage to mounting lights at the hood level as apposed to bumper or roof level. Im not knocking it, looks cool, but is there a glare off the hood?

    • @AZOverland2017
      @AZOverland2017  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't believe there is a clear cut answer as there are variables to consider; what type of environment are you off-roading in mainly? How high is the vehicle? What is your goal with lighting? For our situations, this works very well. It is quick and easy to adjust to due to the brackets and height of the lights, If you adjust outwards and up a bit you are not contending with hood reflection though there is a little.

    What’s the Amp rating for the lights? Were they 5A each? And pairing them made them 10A? Or were they both 10A?

    • @AZOverland2017
      @AZOverland2017  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question. I remember them being 4 each but now that I'm looking at the specs The should be like 4.6a total so they could be run on the 5a circuit

      @@AZOverland2017 Thanks for the fast response again, so I guess that answers my question, pairing them is still going to be about 5A and not 10A.

    So how did you know to use the 10 amp fused circuit and not the 5, 20 or 30 circuit? Could you use the 30 amp circuit but fuse it with a 10 amp fuse? Basically, can you use any circuit and fuse according to accessory?

    What switch panel is that?

    • @AZOverland2017
      @AZOverland2017  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's the Mictuning 12 gang. I have the Auxbeam on the 4Runner. Both work very well

    In my experience, spot beams suck for ditch lights.... flood works best. Side Shooters eliminate the need for ditch lights 🤪
