    Bed lights and aux backup lights.
    Every time I glance at that thumbnail page I read it as "DRY CLEAN LED WIRING" LOL!

      Solid ideas! Also considering the third brake light that houses additional lights.

    I have the trigger six shooter - I liked the idea of using my phone as the controller. I just added a 12v and 2usb panel in the bed and put it on one of the switches. Went back and forth on just doing an add a circuit to the existing 12v fuse, and I may change to that, but for ease of install, it was nice just to plug it into the switch controller. Also nice to have the choice of having power on in the bed even with the truck off if I need.

      I just looked that up, looks nice! I hadn't heard of that kit but the phone thing sounds neat. OEM bed switch works with the truck off fyi.

    Internally mounted bumper winch, air compressor mounted under the coolant reservoir, lights on a roof rack, rear bumper lights, electric tonneau cover (though that should be battery direct), second battery and solar charger in bed for camping set up, etc.

    Is that a Baltimore accent? Also what spools of wiring do you buy to run from accessories to the auxbeam switch panel? Like is 14awg speaker cable the same kind of cable to use for accessories to switch panels? I know this is probably a dumb question to you.

  • @TechnoCritter

    Like the ditch lights. That's on my "to do" list but still a ways out. Have you thought about rear bumper lights? Or even under-carriage lights for those times when your out doing night time rock crawling and aren't sure how much clearance you have over that one precarious boulder.

    • @matt13ross
      @matt13ross  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually have rear bumper light but they’re tied into the reverse lights.
      Rock lights would be useful but are overplayed so I’m a little hesitant 😂

    So basically what ever you connect to the switch panel needs to be grounded with the black wire & only the red wire connects to the panel? I'm gonna install my panel today so I'm trying to figure this out lol never done this before. What if the light that I'm trying to connect comes with a relay that needs to be mounted, do I cut that off?

    • @matt13ross

    Where did you run the wires for the panel? I have a silverado and a Nissan rogue I'm adding lights to and am unsure if I want to go through the firewall (need to make space from the engine bay side to do that) or run it outside the engine bay and along the frame railes inside of the front left fender,and into the cab by the hood latch cable.

    • @matt13ross

      Through the firewall by the steering shaft. Very easy to do on these trucks.

    Psssst, all you need is a stick, duct tape, and a couple mag lights. Who cares if you get sued for having a flashlight go through someone’s windshield after falling off your truck? Edit: this didn’t actually happen to me. Just heard this exact set-up before from an oxygen thief that I used to hunt with. *Used to is key. He actually did it but got ticketed by TX trooper. One case where police brutality would’ve been completely justified.
