Planting potatoes, from weeds to Irish beds

- My potatoes had been ready to plant for a while, and I had to get the potato beds finished to plant them. The weather didn't cooperate, so we dug Irish potato beds in the rain. The next day was a sunnier garden day with more bed-prep and potato planting. Potatoes rain or shine!

I am always soothed watching your videos. Learn & relax, ultimate way to spend some time. Thanks for the video.
Thank you! :) I am happy to hear that!
Thank you for another peaceful video. The lambs are adorable 🙂
They are so cute! I am sad they stay with the herd now. Obviously, I am also happy for them integrating well.
Thank you for a beautiful video
Thank you for being here 🙂
I think your potato planting looked fine. The only thing I'd suggest is avoiding adding extra water via irrigation until after the plants have emerged. This helps limit a stem disease called Rhizoctonia.
That is very good advice! I should have clarified: I only did a shallow watering when I planted them, so the peas would get some water. The beds without peas were no watered at all. I hope it wasn't too wet either way. The soil is dry on the surface but definitely wet deeper down.
Great🎉
Thanks :)
