I never have luck with peppers so I mostly stick with veggies that will do well. I can see you are enjoying your garden. ❤

Peppers are one of our favorites to use, so I keep trying. But this will probably not be a pepper year. Yes, you are right: I am thoroughly enjoying the plots.

Hi Kate, I’m only a day behind this time. Hooray. I enjoyed relaxing to your video while having lunch before I have to go out the out in just a bit. I got the grass mowed, some weeding done, worked on Jewelweed oil for poison ivy. I meant to put it on simmer before going back outside but I had it on medium heat so I came back to crispy jewelweed so I have to start over. My peppers are not doing well again this year 😢. My cat and one of my hens reminds me of your Pepper, they like to lay near me when I’m in the garden. I let the be as long as they aren’t harming any plants. Answering your question from the previous video - life hasn’t changed a whole lot still some challenges keeping my schedule off. Thanks for asking. Take care

Then you are less behind than I am :D Just finished Wednesday's episode. I have exams next week, and have to get a lot of stuff into my brain by then, so I have been a bit scatterbrained with everything else. Come next week, I'll be on semester break again, though, so I can't wait to get some headspace back.
I hope the oil works! Sorry you had to start over.
I don't know why peppers didn't work for me this year. I started seeds three times. Something always went wrong. Only one batch was due to the trip.
      Take care!

Hi Kate! I so love peppers too. I have okay luck depending on the weather. Your cheesecake you were holding looks awesome! 😊

I am eating another piece of another cheesecake for breakfast, as I am answering this. We used to buy cheesecake at the local farm but the slices were getting more and more expensive. I calculated that I'd be able to bake two small cakes for the price of a single slice, so I learned how to bake it myself. Now, every few weeks, I bake a cheesecake.

You sound just like I feel when I'm in the garden.

The rhizomatous grass I cope with really likes mulch because it spreads long distances under mulch to re-invade beds I've spent years clearing of it. So, I'm having to re-invent how to use mulch and manage that grass (and bindweed, which does the same thing). I try to maintain a mulch-free ditch/edge thing along all my beds. We'll see if it works!

Yeah, they do like mulch. I mean, they have less competition from everything else, so they are the happy winners. They also dig underneah the edges of the beds. But they can't get through ditches, so your approach will hopefully work :)
