One year restoring neglected land

- A year ago, I adopted neglected land to restore and enjoy while we live in an apartment nearby. So much has happened since. I restored the garden house--well, mostly. We cleaned up endless amounts of trash and cut free trees and paths. We also added a second plot. Even more has happened there. But let's go back to the beginning.

Still enjoy watching your videos thank you
Glad to hear it 🙂
Thank you for continuing to document your amazing journey, I have loved being along for the ride. It seems like only yesterday that you took possesion of the first lot. Looking forward to more adventures. I hope you and your husband are keeping well and are having a great week. Take care
I was so surprised when I realized it had been a year already. Right now, the year or two until we leave does not sound as long.
Thank you so much 🙂
Thank you for the recap. I really enjoyed it 🌱
Thank you! And thank you for watching the premiere with me. I saw your comment at the very end but could not respond because TH-cam closed the chat. I am so happy to hear you are enjoying my videos. :)
Great adventure and recounting!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed watching 🙂
Amazing! You have accomplished so much- even with one hurt paw! So proud of you. Great vlog. I built a 8x8 polycarbonate greenhouse using duct tape to hold pieces until I could secure them. It was nuts!
That sounds like an adventure. Glad it worked out 🙂
Thanks for taking us along your journey. Did you take Pepper with you on the holiday?
As family booked the apartments, it was not an option. The area is very dog-friendly, though, so we would definitely book our own place and take him next time. He stayed with neighbors 🙂
Congratulations on your 100th video Kate!! Enjoyed watching it. Do you think once your time there is done and you move, you'll still live this type of lifestyle, gardening etc? I'm grateful for coming across your video that one day and following along ever since. 🙂
Thank you, Rose! Yes, we believe we will garden and cook even more then. This is a trial run. Hopefully, the next step is our own land to restore and grow.
❤
Wow, you did fantastic !! I’m sure you have a lot of work to do. ,I live in the city with the house that’s 1925 and there’s always work to be done. We have hurricanes here in Texas so we’re getting a trim trimmed today. It’s massive, but if that tree comes down, it’ll ruin the house so we’re working on that today and in two weeks I will get my house leveled again. It needs to be leveled, it’s always something., but you’ve done fantastic that dance is perfect🎊🎉🎊🎉 🏠
Oh yes, always something to be done. Good luck with the house!
Why will you move after 2 years?
We moved back to Germany during the pandemic. I decided to finish my degrees here. Neither of us wants to live in Germany, and the area here is especially unsuitable. I finish my degree in a year.
Let me ask, are you planning to build a small like a cottage or some thing for you and your husband to stay to live?🌱🫶🏽💚
Yes but but on this land 🙂
