  • August is HOT but so is the fishing!! We're going to show you the best baits, and where to fish them so you can consistently catch fish throughout the month! Bass are predictable on hot days and become very easy to catch, so get out there and have some fun!
    Heat is your friend! We've already done several videos talking about how bass position in the heat and how to predict their movements. Once you understand that positioning, all you need to do is fish these key lures with confidence. Summer fishing can be amazing and this is your year!
    Below you'll find links to the exact baits discussed in the video. We've listed them in the order they appear in the video and have included all the rigging components needed to fish them effectively. All the links go directly to Tackle Warehouse where you can see detailed photos and descriptions of each item.

    Try the Keitech Mad Wag for BIG curly tail action on a swimbait profile sorta like that destroyer..it has a flat side and you can rig it flat side up or skinny side up.. my recommended way- on a light rexes rig 1/8-3/16 and burn it thru grass and it has a draft and a wag like you wouldn’t believe. HIGHLY OVERLOOKED creature/ swim/ worm bait

    • @funkymojo111
      @funkymojo111 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What's right for you is the situation you are fishing in. These guys fish in some big fish waters; nationally AND internationally. I'm in SoCal so Florida-strain largemouth bass in double digits is possible. I also visit an un-pressured part of the overgrown urban river but the population is only 2 y.o. because of a mass die-off; 30lb braid for the submerged vegetation, not because of the fish sizes.
      Tight lines buddy!

      @johnd9267 my understanding (while elementary) is that the thicker braid is for whatever cover you may encounter or be fishing around. I'm in FL where we literally have sawgrass, AND bigger fish than most states, hence the 50-65 even some say 80 braid is required. Personally I use 40 but then again I haven't fished around much, just beating the bank of whatever is walking distance from where I live. To each their own

    Damn everything you guys choose is the most expensive 75 bucks for a wakebait, im a retired veteran i aint got 75 to blow on a wakebait is there a cheaper alternative ? cause the equipment prices you all use are way out of a normal persons price range. i love your guys videos but i can never afford your suggestions because of the price alone.

      @tacticalbassin  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely! We built that bait at $75 to outperform baits that are $200-300. But if it's not affordable to you, we get that 100%. I highly recommend a 7" MS Slammer. It will get the job done, and will save some money.
