The private lake rental thing is really cool! I wish they had spots in Ohio. It looks like all the lakes are in Texas and Oklahoma unfortunately
I think they are continually adding more ponds. Maybe they will spread up north.
I looked in ny and nothing close there might be a handful. Most of them are in the Adirondack mountain area and that's 3 hrs from me.

@@sasquatchsam987 ain't that the truth! I was lucky enough to find a hidden lake where nobody else really fishes. I've caught 7 pounders out of it. I live on the Great Miami River and it's pretty good for smallmouth if you head up north a little bit

1:00:27 Brother you have to try using the plopper as a popper. Just pop it like you would a popper, you will be amazed. I always go to that before I ever think of using a popper because you can still fish it rather quick. You can even continuously reel it like you're doing in this video, but it absolutely cooks them for me.

As someone who also primarily uses a boat but also utilizes a kayak, I wanted to mention that you'd have alot more success keeping your yak on a consistent trajectory if you avoid swinging your rudder from side to side, only small adjustments are necessary haha tight lines bro! 🤙

Oh and I had a deadly birds nest on my bait caster this morning. Hit some weeds as I was coming forward so all spin and no lure movement. Tried for a long time but it was scissors for sure.

Glad to see you being tidy with your fishing tackle debris! Where I live and fish, I see crap all along the shores: line, bobbers, hooks, accompanied by containers of all kinds. IMO, it would do the fishing industry (and the environment!) a heck of a huge help, if fishermen took their garbage with them. And on that note (hint!) and to that effect, pioneering the cause of "clean fishing" would be most welcome.
Over the left shoulder view is a good camera angle for kayak. Greg Blanchard uses it.. Its awesome to see top water blow ups!!! Just friendly FYI!!!

To Tyler, I'm going fishing this week and the water temp is around 62 degrees and the conditions are 90 degrees and sunny what bait should I use and where should I fish on this lake.

Don’t stand up for sure. Fish shorter, stouter rods like MH and H moderate. Fish lots of jigs and worms, and drop shots around deep grass/weed edges!

It seems Tyler enjoys kayak fishing the least. He seems to complain the most about the issues with kayaks and enjoys bank fishing more than a kayak.
Would like to see Tyler fish a small boat like bass pro pond boat to see if he prefers that type of small craft for fishing over a kayak.
I’m definitely enjoy it the least haha, good catch. Problem is, it’s harder for one person to travel with and launch a jon boat or pond prowler. I just gotta figure out my setup both filming and fishing in a kayak
I do at least this good at my local honey hole and it’s free lol. I catch 10-30 fish a day and usually a bunch of 2-6 pounders with the potential of a DD. Watch my videos if you don’t believe me. Almost all my videos are there.
