Just before my mom died I asked her how her life was. She said the beginning was a little tough NAZI occupation, Holland, immigration to Canada , learning a new language starting from scratch. But the greatest joy was the beautiful family and home that the man I love provide me and the great times we had together. She said she loved her husband of 61 years and her two sons, miss and love you mom.

I'm 66 and was raised by a feminist. I fought it at every turn. I'm so pleased to share with you that my three daughters are stay at home moms. They have 10 children between them. They breast fed, and are now homeschooling their children. There is hope

I've dated several women that have told me that they feel pressured to work full-time and have careers, secretly wishing they could stay home and raise a family - but instead they are stressed and miserable working jobs they don't even want.
That's my experience as well. On the surface they act like they love their jobs but in reality they constantly complain about it and it stresses them out so much. I recently broke up with a girl that was in this situation but she just couldn't let it go. She insisted on prioritizing her career over everything else. It's like Stockholm Syndrome or something. It's really bazaar.
It's true. I used to work with a woman who wanted to live that way.

A strong woman is the one who follows her dreams and believes, not the one who does whatever other people tell them to do. If you choose to be a homemaker or a professional or whatever else you choose to be, thats your decision and we all have to respect that decision.

Yes, I have researching this and it is true: there are record-low marriage rates and child births not just in the US but in other parts of the world.
Well, that and kooky divorce laws. Before saying anything else, I totally respect women and empathize with their short biological clock- men can procreate \ start a family at any age. But say you shack up (no marriage yet) with a woman having three kids by three previous men- on the 366th day you no longer can just leave. You are now the legal guardian of the three kids (irregardless of DNA) thru university + the mother. Your paycheck \ bank accounts will automatically be garnished, you won't be allowed to sell off the house, etc.
Now let's say you go the opposite route and marry a young single girl still living with her parents- and you divorce before having kids- she still gets half of everything\ enough to maintain forever the style she is now accustomed to...not the one she had when she met you.

My manager has a wife who is completely a homemaker. She looks great, always happy, and just idolizes him. He has a pretty hectic career, but she completely takes care of the home, and keeps him on track. They have a child and she just looks so fulfilled.

50% of jobs in the US don't pay enough for the individual worker to afford rent for a one bedroom apartment on their own. Your manager obviously gets paid extremely well, most people can't afford to have a stay at home parent. This woman is living in fantasyland, not in reality for the vast majority of working peop!e.

I'm in my 60's and grew up when the feminists were saying "a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle". My dad turned out to be a bum. Mom had to work. This woman is telling how it ought to be but women need a backup plan.
It was my dream to have a loving husband, who would provide me with a house so i could make it a home for him, id be his love goddess full of pleasure, I'd bear 5 beautiful children with him and we'd be both proud and grateful for our creations (gifts from God).
Unfortunately i met a man who got obsessed with me, supposedly in love but also jealous and abusive. We have one beautiful daughter together. After 10 years I've met another man and i thought he's the man for me but he also abused me whilst i was pregnant. I haven't developed any career because it was also something that my jealous ex sabotaged (that i went to college when we got separated) so i have no career, but at least i have 2 beautiful daughters who are my pride and love in life.
I don't support feminism, i think it's very misguided, i prefer femininity, but femininity is something so delicate that it requires protection. When women arent protected and cared for by the men in their family they tend to develop a sort of aggression that is being associated with the feminism.
This "abusive man" mantra that all women use to describe anybody they argue with gets up my nose. My ex stuck a key into my temple when, finally, I Iost my temper with her after three years of requesting, cajoling, begging, shaming and yes, eventually demanding that I be allowed to take my two children for their first visit to my parents...at the age of I think two and three years. And that was me abusing her! My parents never did get to know their grandchildren and I haven't seen them since 2008.
I’ve been an abused homemaker for 34 years. Homemakers are dependent and that makes us vulnerable. The woman this lady describes must be protected. Other women become feminist because they are spiritually, physically or financially abused. All good things can be taken advantage of. Evil mean narcissistic men. Can lead women to feminism. Abuse is real. I would have made any man happy. But I got a sick, broken abused one, who abuses but clings to me in fear of abandonment. Revealing can destroy the whole facade and possibly the whole family that’s why family members hate the truth, no one wants what everyone else has. They want the fantasy family. Only Jesus can give you the grace to flourish in any circumstance.

While I never succeeded to achieve the type of security you mentioned you always hoped for, I have always hoped that a woman such as you or the lady in the video would have been the righteous inspiration I needed to overcome my obstacles.
I too thought I found a mate who would compliment my dreams, my evolving faith and my unwillingness to compramise. I failed, twice. I'm sorry that has been your experience, there are still a few of us out there. I don't subscribe to the religious views of this post, however I could not agree more to the message that the house wife has been completely demeaned and reduced to labels of gold digger, lazy, selfish. A home doesn't make itself. It takes patience, love, time, pride, selflessness, cleaning toilets and keeping a home is a thankless job, raising children and being a present participant and teacher is exhausting. It also gives greater rewards than any 401K could ever come close to. Being a wife, mom, and home maker doesn't provide a paycheck, retirement or come with a manual. There are no scheduled breaks or 10+ hours away from the office and very little adult conversation. Creating a safe, loving, patient and respectful home is what drives a women. A healthy marriage requires a partnership and a united front from both parents. Any way, I hope there comes a time that might change how you feel or maybe be able to see the labor of love that goes into making a house a home. Again, I feel bad that your experience has left you bitter, at least it seems that way, and if I'm wrong I apologize. I just wanted to share my feedback to you. Take care of yourself and be happy.

They are very immature, lazy, and have the need to feel “victimized.” Men need to put their part and become more assertive, masculine, and courageous. If this happen, then we can truly appreciate a good woman when we have her. This does not change the fact, by the way, that men are naturally driven to have sex and multiple times. How you keep him, is by being a good woman to him but nothing is guarantee- we can’t ignore the genes we have been given.

I think you are misusing the word gold-digger in your explanation. I think you are referring to two extremes; housewife vs an over achiever. You can be both and have a balance life or you can pick a side (but don't be on the extreme side of either or). What is important is that which ever choice you make, it will also fit with the lifestyle of the man you are with or seek.

My mother was a feminist career woman in the 70s when I was growing up. My dad was a police office for NYC. There was no peewee baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse or music lessons. I came home and on the fridge was a list of chores. No one there to sit me down with my homework. My mother made lots of money, drove a fast sports car, went Antique shopping with my dad. My mother came home stressed every day and was one mean bitch. On the weekends I was carted off to NYC where my wonderful grandmother took care of us to my parents could have their selfish time alone like newlyweds. My mother alienated us. Didn’t take long to realize I didn’t need her. When I got engaged to my wife my mother was upset I didn’t ask her along to pick out my wife’s ring. Weird since it was my wife’s choice. I said to my wife she has never been in my life except when she had to punish me. Where did she get the idea I needed her?
Same. To this day my parents are some of the most selfish, self centred people I have ever met. She taught me nothing of value. Now she bitches that I won’t speak to her. “Go be with your husband” is what I told her.

If only men had t chased them out of the home by financially bullying them, disrespecting them, cheating on them, telling them how it was going to be, and not giving them a choice in anything. I don’t think most women like having a career but the alternative to the way that women were being treated was worse. Now that everyone’s on board with the fact that nothing is working maybe both parties could back up a little bit and try a little harder.

You are a breath of fresh air! My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have very traditional roles in our marriage. We have taught both our daughters, by example, the value of being good wives and mothers; emphasizing God's plan is the way for happy marriages and families. Thank you for reinforcing this.

Umm, There are still some but they are fighting an uphill battle to find men who are marriage material. I fought to become a woman worth marrying, have taught my daughter to be one as well. But seeing the men she has to chose from, makes me cry.
I'm very skeptical of this. What's wrong with those men? I know several guys that have never slept around and are honest, hard working, loyal guys that just want to love a wife and have a family. Just look at the TH-cam or Twitter comments regarding feminism. There's literally millions of good guys venting their frustration that they can't find a single decent woman. This is NOT a man problem. If you can't find a good guy for your daughter than you either aren't looking hard enough/in the right places or (more likely) you are asking for the impossible. In my experience, when women say they can't find a good guy, they mean they can't find a guy who is like a Disney prince that looks like a model/actor, who is famous and wealthy (and continues to be), and who is willing to put up with her ever-changing and often conflicting desires and be totally fine with her not putting any effort into the relationship or even being ok with her constantly disrespecting the man or even cheating on the man. If you or she is only looking at the meathead play boy stud types, then yeah, he's obviously going to be a bad person. But if you're willing to compromise on the looks or wealth or status a bit, then you should have no problem finding a very good guy for her. The question is if she is truly a feminine girl that guys would like (according to a good traditional guy - not according to what another woman thinks that a guy might like).

@@semofarmgirl7642 Well there aren't many cowboys/farmers left anymore due to most of our parents selling away all that land and large corporations taking over that industry. So that may be a bit of fantasy off the bat unless she just means a more rural type of guy (which again isn't necessarily something we can control as we're just doing what we have to and living where we have to in order to survive in this current world).
I understand most guys do drink and/or smoke a lot but there are still lots of guys that don't (such as myself and my friends). If she is respectful and communicative to the man, then he will be respectful, loving, and communicative back unless he happens to have some mental/personality issues or is the bad boy type (which women seem to love). I've learned that what women say they want and what they actually want are two different and often conflicting things. They say they want to be traditional but yet they often compete and argue with the man instead of allowing the natural order of the man to lead (in love). So men usually either yield their power over to the woman or they become disrespectful because they don't know how else to handle the disorderly and feminist attitude.
But also, women often have incredibly unrealistic expectations financially, thinking that a 20 or 30 something year old guy should be able to afford land, a house, multiple cars, and a big family, etc off of a single income. This may have been possible back in the day but it's nearly impossible now. My point is, there's always going to be compromises and it seems like many women simply aren't willing to make any real compromises while ironically not even offering much of any value themselves to a man.
What do men want in comparison: Just a decent loyal woman that isn't a whore or a total narcissist or feminist or hideously ugly. That's hardly asking anything but it seems impossible to find in reality as every single woman these days is either too damaged or at least somewhat feminist or narcissistic (even if they don't realize it)! So where have the good guys gone? If they aren't already married, they've basically given up.

@Carol JL Wife Respect for honoring your commitment (if true). I don't know for sure but I doubt that he simply doesn't want you. Some guys just don't know how to show appreciation as much and may say or do harsh things at times. But try to focus on the positives he's done (even if mostly in the past). What I'm referring to is young women these days mainly. They generally no longer have a real moral code and expect the impossible from men with little to nothing in return.

Amen! I catch so much garbage because I'm a traditional married stay at home mom. I teach my girls cooking, baking, how to make things instead of buy them. I just want to be the wife and mother God has called me to be. I don't understand how society sees this as "bad." I sleep well at night with my choices.
Wish I met a woman like you. From my experience going through my 20s, I've been with women who clearly only look out for themselves and what I had to bring to the table. I wasn't making nearly as much as I am now so it was hard to keep a girl since I couldn't give her what she wanted (money). I'm 29 now and my career has grown and I have tripled my income and now I am not as interested in a lot of those girls because they are simply not wife materia, just some 30 year old who still acts like she's 20 and thinks she's seen as such. If you are 30 that's fine, but most women by that age are single because they didn't look for a good man to settle down with when they were a bit younger. Men in their 30s know what they want. They know what to look for in a partner. Its just sad that women find these things out too late. If you are young, stop being so judgemental, you could be ruining possible opportunities that might have truly changed your life for the better.
As an Atheist, I personally don't see anything wrong with a woman who wants to be a stay at home mom. Raising well balanced children is critical for those who want to become parents. I have seen women who would love to have the financial ability to stay at home while their children are small.

I go to one of the largest universities in this country (50,000+ students pre-lockdown). I haven't met a single female student who actually wants a husband, let alone a decent long term relationship with a man. They will say to your face that all they want is sex and then to dump you the next day. They literally never want to see you again, unless you're Chad that is. But even Chad can't find a wife these days because he ain't good enough. It's depressing.

The problem also is men don’t seem to mature until much older, there is much pressure for men to not show their feelings or be soft as well with their wife... and then there is the fear of my daughter marrying not well and being left to raise babies with no money or emotional support from her husband. So, if men want this (and I pray they actually do) then we all also need to teach our sons to be trustworthy and accountable so women CAN submit.

I’m 66 a year old man and come from a family that had a few very godly women. Of everyone in the family, they were the ones that had the most positive impact on my adult life. When women’s lib came along, I supported it and even though I’m in the middle of a divorce with a 50 year old female toddler that has no concept of being virtuous, or how to raise our 16 year old son that I’m now raising, I still believe godly women are out there. I’m praying for God to bring my son a godly woman. He deserves it.

Um, how about truck drivers, doctors, sewage and water treatment plant operators, plumbers etc.. literally every other job that is ACTUALLY critical to the infrastructure of our society. Bit hard to make homes when the home hasnt been constructed yet huh? I never said homemaking wasn't important, but i think you are greatly overestimating the effect of your argument - reduced effectiveness/efficiency of the working population would definitly be bad for society but would remain at just that, reduced effiency and productivity/less social cohesion but still be a functioning society that continues to slowly improve upon itself.
I also think youre slightly misusing the data your argument is based on, it's not that having women at home raises better people, it's that having a TWO person household is shown to better for children in virtually all aspects. Single parent only household (so in our case even strong and glorious homemakers only) has been demonstrated to be be a huge hindrance for children. And that's because having a man at home is equally as important in raising more reliable workers (and i would argue even more so, seeing as it is the father's primary duty to teach children boundaries, more so than the mother).
Your argument would have had WAY more strength in terms of raw contributions to society back when our infrastructure was still critically lacking and getting food and water each and every day + making sure the house and everything else remains clean so your family dont catch diseases was a MASSIVE issue. But today? Id argue that the utility of women in the household has massively decreased where all those critical tasks of yesteryear are now as easy as snapping your fingers.

In fact, more importantly, the NBA pulls in more than $1 billion annually. Whereas, the WNBA pulls in about $60 million annually. Feminist are protesting? Yip, these folks actually believe that arrangements should be made so that female players could be paid exactly the same scale as the men in a well established league like the NBA! What?... My mother was a homemaker, my father and alcoholic. She cooked and cleaned but had no love due to her lifelong abuse. I went to Celebrate Recovery and majority were homemaking wives dealing with porn, drug addicts. This video leaves put a HUGE problem.

I had this issue 6 years ago. She had backup extra accounts that I didnt know about. I was upset and said it was dishonest and untrustworthy and claimed she should take it all down. She did but replaced them with new ones. My first love had to be that messed up because now. She had blamed me for the relationship ending over things like that with her saying I was manipulative and emotionally abusive. So now. I lack any self esteem I had 6 years ago and I question and hate myself every day asking myself if she was right.

I’m a woman. I have 3 degrees including a Master’s, and yet the best job ever is being a wife and a mother. I’m extremely traditional and have been marries for 39 years. My boys tell me that that is what they are most proud of my and me for staying married.

The chest was often an actual wooden chest and typically made of cedar.
They can't even take care of themselves. Their homes are messy. How many can even make a grilled cheese sandwich? There are literally zero expectations for these women of today.
first girlfriend I had 11 years ago couldn't even make a decent breakfast. she burnt the eggs, lol. it has just gotten worse since then.
I think it's fine to expect women to be able do this but it should also be expected for men.

Oh my gosh happen to stubble onto you video and I must tell you it a breath of fresh air, which my marriage was like this, most of the time I don’t even want to come home
My wife and I have been married 46 years. I worked outside the home and my wife worked very hard inside our home, caring for our two children and supporting me in everything we did. We have always been a team with the goal of seeing our children succeed. We have two successful, drug free kids, both married and doing well. Their friends growing up were in single parent homes with working moms and few have enjoyed the lives our kids have. I attribute this to the fact my wife was home in involved in every aspect of our kids childhood. In fact, for most of the kids, my wife was closer to them than their own mothers. I fear we have lost something we will never find again.
This is what a queen looks like respect her femininity makes me want to protect her respect Mama's your good woman.
